Code: SPN10 @ dovemounts . c o m for 10% off a dove mounting kids like this. This is my second favorite handgun setup as of recent. Accurate as can be, love it with the dot. Respect. By the way, I do voiceovers to get better audio that’s why you hear one of my baby girls in the back playing while I was on daddy duty. Safe can be found here: steelheadoutdoors.com/?sld=spnfirearms
She’s not crying, she’s happily playing, as I was on daddy duty doing this voiceover. All of my kids were happily playing. They are the best. Working full time and having 3 kids that I actually spend a lot of time with some times calls for voiceovers while playing. This is a voiceover as I record all the content and then do all of the voiceovers later for better audio.
I had a Glock 30s years ago. Really cool CCW piece and fit perfectly in my hand. It was that perfect size between a 19 & 26 I bought it as a suppressor host but it turns out the small glocks don’t work well suppressed. The weight of the suppressor prevents barrel tilt and causes failures to feed every other round.
Very Surprised to see red dots on your concealed carrys. Awesome to see you still rising. Best gun channel hands down. I'm glad you didn't sell out to sponsors. You're still the real deal. A sponsor you should have is glock, considering your advice (non scam channel) has made them well over high 7 figures.
230 grain standard ball ammo is also okay to carry it doesn't overpenatrate much due to the slow nature of 45 and is decent for protection against bigger wildlife animals if needed to be.
Depending on barrel length, and gel test I stick with federal hst or hydra shock, for all calibers. I do have some older rounds for my .40 was known as black talons, renamed to ranger T
HST or Gold Dots are the go tos Critical Duty, VCrown, or Underwood if I absolutely need to grab something off the shelves as those are usually available
The bonded HP ammo is good, but the other 2 are gimmick ammo imo. The solid core stuff is just as bad as ball ammo for over penetration, and the light but fast stuff doesn't have enough impact for me. I'm sure it's fine in most places but that shits gonna bind up in someone's jacket. Carry critical duty or federal hst, call it a day. If it's good enough for my states LE, then why wouldn't that be what I carry as well. Both are stout enough to point shoot a target though a windshield with minimal deflection, will punch doors, but both also dump all of their energy within the first 14 inches, 99% of the time that means no overpenetration. I also offgas about 10% of my velocity to ports and a comp, which means more energy transfer and less chance of negligence. 45 is cool and all, but being limited to 5 or 6 rounds, nah fam. I'll appendix carry a big handgun before that.

@@spnfirearmsdon’t worry, Dad. You’re doing awesome! Fellow dad here and kids are the best part of life. Glad we have firearms to keep them safe.
We need more dads with guns 🤙🏽 cheers spn
Thanks man, respect!
@@spnfirearms absolutely man you’re the modern hickock45 or iv8888 I go to u for all my Glock questions
Federal HST 230 grain +p or Speer gold dot short barrel 230 grain are also great options. Very proven performers in law enforcement.
Your babies sound happy, Chief. Be well
He’s soft and a Big Boy

Baby’s just happy to be in a safe home like this😁

I got some of those ranger rounds and civil defense for my Glock 30 edc setup
Sounds like that Glock was crying for you to take it to the range more....
Love the 9mm rangers. Still have a few hundred but they're harder to find now. Those g9 45s are nasty looking haha
I carry 147g +p HPs. Absolute monsters and they don't tend to over pen either which I like a lot.
I like it
That's a solid set up! I've been struggling finding one for my G30s ever since I got it last year 😭
HST or Gold Dots are the go tos

agreed. in all the testing ive seen, hst and gold dot trade for #1 and #2 all the time
A plus 4 would be chefs kiss lol
I carry 180 and 230 grain hollows, monsters, i gog a few civil defense in there too

That's an Excellent Gun brother 👌I Now gonna get a G29 also incredible Gun 👌😁
G9 all Day!
Glock 9?
@@pookspain3033the first round he showed is a G9 Defense round pretty nice round going good speed especially for a 45
Yessir, G9 Defense great stuff. Also Underwood makes some great EHP ammo
@@shadygodking752 got you man. Thanks for the information!
@@pookspain3033 ofc homie information is key 🔑
fucking beautiful
All nice rounds me personally I choose 1 round stick with it
Why the short grip when a g19 with a full grip would fit in the same box
I still like my old trusty Gold Dots but been looking at some Underwood ammo, you run anything from them ever?
what is that optic mount? on a g30 that actually looks right i want it on mine
Is your slide milled or you have some type of Mount for your red dot?
Kiddos approved.
Any opinion on G9 in 9mm out of curiosity?
Can you post a video shooting the different types of rounds?
Does glock or anywhere sell just those baseplates/ extensions
If it fits in your pocket Spn is buying it 😂😂
how do u like the dove tail
Do you have a link for the case
Liberty defense are some CANNONS you not 🧢in
What's that safe
Chode ahh glock
I had that before and it sucked. Very snappy, not fun to shoot, follow up shots are not ideal, and too heavy to carry. I sold it and got a 43x MOS.
I'll stick with hydro shok 😂😂😂
Will the dove mounting kit work for the glock 29
Yes
Get it milled. I got mines milled.
You're just an ad marketing channel at this point
Do you use underwood ammo ?
The ones in the video are g9
Anything besides a g9 hollow makes the 45 irrelevant idc, if you compare fmj ballistics and price points 45 really isn’t that good
Hst all the way
“Its average size”
Not a fan of liberty rounds .
Are you going to war?
Better be prepared and not need it then need it and not have it
If war came to your doorstep what would you do?
Is that a baby or a bir
To small
Ugly weapon
Nice that's like the most uncommon caliber I've seen on a Glock it seems like
