Loved the way he analyzed the room, the weapons he had available, the amount of men, and the time to do it, then he just glided through them. Badass scene.
Putting it into perspective about should've taken the money is the coldest thing ever. I mean the guy is literally leaving Earth and Denzel made sure he knew why as he was dying.
Enjoyed the Equalizer series as a kid. But the producer, director, casting director, and Denzel absolutely nailed it. Such a great movie. Big DW fan. He's the best.
Hell of a movie. This director knows how to get you involved in the moment. Yes Denzel is The Man in pretty much every movie he's in but my god is he good in these. Nothing but Feel Good Times......
When he locked the door the first thing that came to my mind was the bar scene from A Bronx Tale -- "Now Youse Can't Leave". I just wish Denzel would have said that line as well in this movie. 😉👍
Great Fight Scene From "The Equalizer" Sequel!!!!!** Those "Special Forces" Technical Skills Are "Mesmerizing!!!!!"** Denzel Washington Portrayal As Robert McCall Is Just "Magnificent!!!!!"**
antone fuqua is SUCH A GREAT DIRECTOR !!! southpaw..equalizer..brooklyns finest...training day..every one of his movies are awesome!! mad respect to this man..also...he gives back to his community.such a generous dude..
This scene was so cold I swear! First of all that look Denzel was giving him was a look that you HAVE TO KNOW that something is gonna happen right? And when he stepped to the door and open & shut it & open & shut it and then turned and set his watch & commence to tare'n they asses up 🤣🤣🤣...dammit man Denzel is so cold🥶
It’s in the fine detail... the placing order of the sculls and the amount of times he opened the door and locked it. Each noice represented by a body falling
Right as soon as he locked the door , look if I’m rolling 5 deep and packin and a dude lays the envelope with 9,800 , as soon as he locked the door I would’ve said “ ok broo let’s work something out ok , can I just take the money back and you get the girl , it’s gonna save me a shit load of pain “
The part where the corkscrew is sticking up through that bad guy's chin, it's missing. Too graphic, I guess. The look on the bad guy's face, is priceless!
The original TV series with Edward Woodard was very good. There was a short lived series very similar to “The Equalizer” on around the same time called “Stingray”. He drove a black C2 corvette, helped people in situations similar to “The Equalizer” but only would ask the victims a favor if he needed it.
The lecture at the end to the guy on the floor always reminds me of Falling Down, where Michael Douglas tells the dying golfer. "Yeah. And now you're going to die wearing that stupid hat. How does it feel?" Or Little Bill Daggett in Unforgiven; about to get his head blow apart, lying on the floor "I don't deserve this... to die like this. I was building a house."
I was a little apprehensive about another Hollywood production based on a beloved tv series, but Antoine and Denzel knocked this out of the park. Edward Woodward was great, but Denzel IS Robert McCall.
When he said you think you can come up in here and buy whatever you want i was waiting on Denzel Washington to say yeah cause king Kong dont have shit on me lol
Shot in throat. Voice box gone. Can't draw breath without filling lungs with blood. Yup fitting end for human trafficking filth. Yes I know it is a film but that stuff is happening. We could do with a real Equiliser
We all love these glorious depictions of righteous violence, why is that? I think that along with random violence goes the feeling that we have somehow transgressed a moral code; violence without control and purpose is pure but flawed. What makes movies such as these so compelling is that they carefully build a rational that shows us that this violence is righteous, and therefore licensed. Because of this carefully constructed rational we can enjoy the violence without reserve.
I think it has to do with the fact that in real life so many truly evil people in high places commit horrible acts and get away with it. Even though it is fiction, there is something satisfying about watching a movie where "evil" (as depicted in the script) people get the punishment they so richly deserve. I just wish it happened more often in real life. Karma.
I always thought of the EQ series with DW as the "MAN ON FIRE 2" AND "3", and in EQ 2 the first thing he does is return a kidnapped girl to her mother, just like in MAN ON FIRE!
Loved the way he analyzed the room, the weapons he had available, the amount of men, and the time to do it, then he just glided through them. Badass scene.
Been a huge fan of action Denzel ever since Man On Fire. Badass scene for a badass character
keepnitreel 4me 28-9, that’s 19.
No, that’s bcos you fucked around finishing the last one...
Think objects on desk represents men in room.
He should take the money
@I'mSmarterThanYouAndThereIsNothingYouCanDoAboutIt No, really?
His cajoling little speech at the end is the cherry on the cake. That scene wouldn't be the same without it.
Denzel is a great actor, has numerous awards, but still like him best in the Equalizer series.
Id like to see John Wick and him go after each other...lol...prob be an epic battle!
2nd one didn't compare to the first even, the villain in first equalizer was an incredible counter character to Denzel,s...acted impeccably.
No one can deliver a character like Denzel Washington. He can do what seems impossible and make it believable. He is a master!
Denzel Washington is someone we can all look up to. Great man, great American.
Its a movie, dumbshit..
@@TheGeosto Please try to have the brains to read about him a bit in real life. I know it would be hard.
Christian man as well!
@@joshuawaddell6640 Yeah right, a Christian Hollywood actor. What do the devils horns stand for, Rock and Roll?
Putting it into perspective about should've taken the money is the coldest thing ever. I mean the guy is literally leaving Earth and Denzel made sure he knew why as he was dying.
🤣 Instead your dying on the funky'azz floor🤣 That was some cold 🥶sh-t Denzel put down🔥💯👍🏿
The bit with the skulls was epic...
He was showing in so many ways that he was death.
He set them out facing the exact order he took them out in. He was prioritizing them and they didn't realize it!
Cold blooded
Enjoyed the Equalizer series as a kid. But the producer, director, casting director, and Denzel absolutely nailed it. Such a great movie. Big DW fan. He's the best.
I never get sick of watching this movie or this scene
Hell of a movie. This director knows how to get you involved in the moment. Yes Denzel is The Man in pretty much every movie he's in but my god is he good in these. Nothing but Feel Good Times......
I grew up watching the Equalizer with Edward Woodward - This is a fantastic remake! proper awesome
@FirstN LastN Racist much?
One of the most underrated movies of all time!
@nickys34 Spoken like a true snot nosed punk ass millenial moron.
Clive Bindley lol😂😂 right

Love the way he turns the glass skulls at them.....he's telling them..." death is looking at you and coming your way".
Don't mess with a DIY store man, you don't know what he's capable of lol. What a fantastic film.
Walmart style defense art.
Hahahahahahaha
You must be an employee, working at Home Depot, lol!
My 35th time watching this scene.Awesome!
When Denzel starts the timer on his watch, the expiration date of your life has run out.
He's one of the best actor's .....ever !!!!!
I tried this in real life, take note I'm writing this message from my hospital bed.
Yeah the geezers at the old folks home weren't impressed and taught you a lesson.
I'm sorry I laughed
Which means your NOT The EQUILIZER
@@ronniebuck2954 my dad always said never give up.
How 'd it go Dean?
Love the way he said "her life is gonna go on and your life is gonna end right here on this funky assed floor"😝🥂

Denzel is the GOAT...never gets old!
Another LEGEND at his best the one and only DENZeL.
Best actor in my. Book #1
Best actor in most people's book
This is one of my alltime favorite action movies. Great story, great acting
THAT scene is so typical of a Steven Seagal scene from a while ago. I've always been impressed with that style of action.
Great Fight Scene From "The Equalizer" Sequel!!!!!** Those "Special Forces" Technical Skills Are "Mesmerizing!!!!!"**
Denzel Washington Portrayal As Robert McCall Is Just "Magnificent!!!!!"**
Great action scene and I love it, truly hope they make a third Equalizer
Denzel Washington would be a fantastic James Bond, cool, smooth and claim.
I'll never view my local hardware store staff in the same way again.
Kind of reminds me of that scene in bronx tale" and now yous can't leave".
Now you're locked in here with us. No, you're locked in here with me!
Me, too. As soon as he locked that door, that was the first thing that popped into my head.
I do believe they're making a sequel. Can't wait.

One of Denzels best scenes ever.

Love the look in DW's eyes @ 3:18. At that moment, you KNOW those dude's are all totally screwed
Denzel is such a versatile actor
This one the few remakes that has out done the original. Its a well written and acted.
Great reaction when he took 28 seconds to kill them, he is like "damn Im getting old"
Denzel at his finest The roll was perfect for him it’s timeless Art
Greatest action movie hero hands down. Period.
Washington plays a really good part. This is the best scene in the movie.
Denzel was not only badass in this movie but believable as well! One of the few Actors I respect.
Your life is going too end on this funky floor..WoW. awesome writing!
What is a mans life worth? In this case. It was $9800.00 for the lives of 5 men.
They should have taken the money......
Really messed up that last henchman
They could have replaced that "funky carpet" with that $9800. Boss man exercised poor judgement and now look at him.
The saddest part, and the thing they never knew, was that it was 9800.00 including tax...a bargain!
It’s in the fine detail... the placing order of the sculls and the amount of times he opened the door and locked it. Each noice represented by a body falling
One of the most satisfying ass-kickings on film, imho. Grown men beating up a girl-they needed at least a maiming, but killing was even better.
When He Locked The Door They Knew They Fucked Up
yep
not they didn't they had no idea
Bad Ass scene well edited and choreographed. Denzel made the movie that much better. Epic!
can't wait until the sequel come out
lordsupreme1980 Fuck yeah!
lol this one sucked...
Robin Friberg, 100% complete HorseShit
Robin Friberg nope
lordsupreme1980 is there really going to be a part two?
If you could combine Denzel’s characters from Equalizer & Training Day: straight bad ass.
one of the favorite actors Denzel Washington 👍🏻👍🏻💪🏻💪🏻

Watched this movie several times. Fantastic action!!
another reason to love Denzel. he makes a cheesy action picture good.
HE SHOULD HAVE TAKEN THE MONEY.... WHAT Y'ALL THINK???
Yep, shoulda.
Gidget Hrobowski yea 9800 was not worth it......
He wants more. His mistake, should have never bargained for his life.
he should have taken the money lol
like he had any idea that he was going to die, but in hindsight he should of taken the money IF he knew he was going to die.
One of the best kill scenes of all time.
“On second thought, I think the $9800. is a better fit”. 😎
100% savage....what a great scene....
The part where the corkscrew is sticking up through that bad guy's chin, it's missing. Too graphic, I guess. The look on the bad guy's face, is priceless!
One bad scene. You imagine that really happening. There are men that are really that deadly.
no, there arent quite. it's fantasy.
There needs to be a sequel.

This is the cut version of this fight scene ...some of the graphic violence is missing lol

I am impressed with the quality of slimeballs in many movies. This guy gets an 8.5 on the "Slimemeter."
Brilliant comment! Can't stop laughing.
Remember Gone in 60 Seconds. Those guys were gone in 19. Bad ass.
For some reason i like the horrible sounds the guy makes when he dies near the end (ie just before 4:10). I especially like the grunt at 4:17!
Haha, Wtf.
