Hi there. It depends on where you want to get a bus from. If you are taking bus from major cities like Kathmandu and pokhara or anywhere. You need to first get a bus to "SURKHET" after you get to SURKHET go to the counter and get a ticket to TALCHA AIRPORT. You bus for TALCHA AIRPORT leaves in the morning. After you get on a bus, first night you will be stopped for dinner and it leaves in the morning again. You can get off few stops before TALCHA AIRPOT in a place named called SALLERI, you can get a horse for the tourist experience and help the local people the to take you to your hotel in the lake, or you can directly get off at the TALCHA AIRPORT and hike to the lake if you want to have an adventure. It takes 2 days from SURKHET TO REACH THE RARA LAKE; only if there is no any problems on the road during the journey. Have a safe travels if you are travelling and thank you for visiting my channel.
