I purchased two of these cases. One for a higher electric and standard electric; the other one for two electric solid bodies. . My strata, Astor and PRS is flop around inside these case pretty dramatically compared to putting them in a rectangle plastic gator case which I’ve flown my guitars with before. One of the things I wasn’t expecting is how heavy the dual guitar cases with both instruments become. One of the things that I haven’t seen anybody address and concerns me to the point where I’m not going to use these two cases, is that my guitars go on the airplane with me and in the overhead of a 737 typically the back of the plane I don’t believe the guitar cases are gonna go overhead Norwood and flight attendants and gate person allow it to go on the plane because it’s so large. At that point, the gate person takes your instruments and hands them off to somebody else and you end up with them sliding down the carousel with everything else. That wouldn’t bother me if I had a case of squires, but when I put PRS instruments in that case, I’m not so willing to let them out of my control
I personally haven’t flown with the dual case but can definitely see that being an issue! I wouldn’t really want to check any of my guitars in a flight either.
Yup! It fits in the compartment bin on some airplanes and It would most likely be fine checked in as well. I’ve flown with the vertigo and a les paul in it that I had to check in, no problem whatsoever.
Great video, very informative!
Glad you enjoyed it! Really appreciate it.

Would you say this case is safe for flights?

I feel like I'm on hold with this crappy music
