Another really good podcast Iain. So engaging that it seemed over far too quickly. It has taken me a couple of days to get round to listening due to the combined effects of holiday season demands and the fact that I like to dedicate a time without interruption to enjoy them to the fullest. Have a good holiday season and as always, I'm looking forward to your next production 👍

The war in the EM spectrum was wild during this time. A lot of tactics and technology was developed very quickly and then deployed, leading to a lot of "on the job" training and development. Of course, the NVA were not stagnant, and started developing tactics in return to counter this. Wash, rinse, repeat. At the very least, a lot of those lessons were learned and retained all the way into the 90s. The jury still seems to be out somewhat if the dissolution of the Wild Weasel units and a dedicated, two seat, Weasel platform was a good idea.

The People's Liberation Army Air Force, known as the Chinese Air Force, took part in the Vietnam War Air Warfare campaign the second MiG shot down over was a Chinese MIG 17 by an US Navy F4 B phantom fighter, the Chinese military sent 320,000 men AAA units, Radar and engineers divisions along with MIG fighters to North Vietnam to free up North Vietnamese man power to send to South Vietnam by 1967, 7 in 10 Viet Cong fighters in V.C Divisions was a Northern, the USSR sent SA 2 units to North Vietnam manning the SA 2 irony US pilots are not allowed to killed Russian military personal on SA 2 S.A.M site, the stupid rules of engagement in the Vietnam war made Operation Rolling Thunder a complete failure.
