I had to return to stores like this and because of your RUclips channel and video I was able to take them apart and put them back in the box and return them😊
I had to replace the seat on mine too so I bought another one. I screwed something up…it involved the black cap. In the end, I just replaced the seat and put it on the original stool which was made much better. Threw the new stool away.
When I lean forward just a bit the whole thing leans forward catapulting me off the chair. I think it's because the base is so light and needs to be heavy? How can I make it more stable ? Thank you
Hello! I have found this video immensely helpful, but I wanted to ask if the stool can be re-assembled AFTER having been disassembled? Or is disassembly irreversible? Thank you
LumiSource- I tried hitting the center of the hydraulic pole, but it is not coming out. PLease let me know how to get it out. Someone else here mentioned a lock. Is there a lock. Please help. I followed all steps in your video very carefully. Thank you
Hi Melissa, there is no lock. Try having another person hold the base while you hit the center of the hydraulic pole. If that does not work then you can hold the hydraulic pole in 1 hand and hit the base on all 4 sides with a rubber mallet.
LumiSource - My seat is round. I am having a hard time getting it off. I have tried hitting it with another person holding it and it is still not coming loose. Is there a trick?
I beat the crap out of the bottom of a few of these and the seat wouldn't budge. 3 out of 4 stools had their hydrolics fail within months of buying at a home goods. obvioisly the chair in the video was never even sat upon. Making it appear to be near effortless to remove. BS

We are happy you found our video helpful. Yes, you can put the bar stool back together after it has been disassembled.

+Raina McNutt - yes - this chair was jut assembled, then removed - typical - no one ever sat on it and had the pole seat itself in the base
how much weight can this stool take?
That was very helpful thank you.
Un buen video. Pero a mi no me funciono. De todas maneras gracias
Used block of wood with normal hammer..
Tip = Spray the seal with WD40 couple hours before you do it..
thank you!!! great stuff
Thank you very much that was really easy , i hope i'll be able to do the same.

it's not hydraulic, it's pneumatic.
