Love the look of this (yeah, who would have guessed I'm a camo fan, even if "space camo" is a whole different topic 😂). Be keen to see how these settle down in usage and hence price. Presumably, everyone has been farming guristas LP for a while now, too, which may have an impact. Loving the timely well thought out video as always.

Considering the number of launchers, fitting C3-A ballistic control systems can add decent dps at reasonable price (~9mil/piece in Jita last time I checked). Similarily for the Alligator, though the hull price may warrant fitting some C3-X ballistic control systems. They require more CPU than DDA though.

The price is going to make it a bit of an elite ship in the beginning. It'll do T2 Abyssals if blinged out, or even T3 if running with someone else. I shudder to think what this will do in FW, though. Gank magnet maybe?

The Mekubal Angel Destroyer from what I can see is nice but the fact they didn't give it the ability to use drones makes it honestly trash. I know they haven't released the final version as of yet and some stats could change but tell me how they decide to not give an Angel Cartel ship no drones? Dramiel has drones, Cynabal has drones and the Machariel has drones. Doesn't make since to not add drones to a hull that even looks like a Tristans big brother. lol I think they did an awesome job with the Mamba and the fact you made a video putting it out first should be a sign to ccp they need to take another look at the Mekuba before they release this update.
Yea could be right on the drone front. Still has a lot going for it even with its current stats. Huge amounts off fitting room is super nice. Got some nice theory crafted fits for todays video. Thanks for watching man.
TBH it really needs the drone speed bonus the other drone destroyers get. High to a mid or low as well would be ideal, but I really just want it to be a clear step up from the worm, instead of competing with it, since it has completely identical bonuses and the same number of mids and lows.
Yea its not massively above the worm tank wise. Slower yes but makes up with more dps slightly. Depends how you fit your worms really and how you compare them to that really. Thabks for watching man.

Pirates faction and navy faction are different in fw. Pirate ships can only be used in the ADV plex not in a normal or NVY plex.

@@zaqq Ideal is never my goal in DED running, and it's always fun to mix it up. Even the failures are both interesting and quite revealing about what it takes to run the various DED sites.
I just hope the hull is not prohibitively expensive :(

@@zaqq That's what I feared - the worm is still very expensive, so I expect this to initially be extortionate, and then settle somewhere between the worm and gila.

1600 ms is pretty slow for kiting, and 460 dps for a brawling dps is a little low, but 17k ehp is pretty decent

the cormo got the NI version just before
20 year old game and still just reusing ship designs instead of CCP actually having to do any real work and create new exciting ship models.
Sorta makes sense for the pirate line for caldari but yea would have been nice to get unique hulls like we did with the new angel ships. O7
@zaqq yeah makes sense too since the other ships are also reused hulls. Would just like to see more of a emphasis on new designs even if they were just paid skins.
