- It's been awhile since Lenny has been this excited about a new product!
The new Tactical Practical Sight Mount (GlockStore Item #2020) is the easy, inexpensive way to mount a Red Dot Sight on any Glock handgun with rails.
You'll also get a nice lesson on Red Dot sights in general and the other more common (and more expensive) ways to mount them.
Available: www.glockstore....
The great thing about these mounts is that they work on most guns. they also allow you to co-witness with the iron sights. So when you are shooting at close range you can use iron sights and when you are shoot further out you can use the red dot. The height of the optic might be something you need to get used to.
Just ordered one just like it from Amazon for $14. The cheapest I could find. Hope it's worth it.
Now make the holster that accommodates a light on the bottom rail.
Once again a great product Lenny.
Hope to try it out soon on the range.
Greatings from The Netherlands also to Tammy,
Glockie.
at 25 yards it shoots high we had to max it out to get it at 40 yards was able to get less than 11/32" right of center
Although in retrospect, it was common sense, but thank you for mentioning how you have to basically compensate for that rail mount sitting high. I have a rail mounting system from Wasatch arms, and when I went to the range I couldn’t hit crap 🤦🏾♂️
love this! Jason Statham used it in The One with a foregrip and comp. i like that it enables a micro optic without having to install it on the slide. just wish it came with a pic rail on both sides for mounting lights and what not then it would be a must buy for me.
That mount is cool and functional as all get out, but one thing bothers me is it sure is high above the bore axis. Is it polymer or aluminum ?
I have a trijicon rm7 and I highly recommend milling the top slide. It just looks better
Looks like you can still use the iron sights under the mount in a pinch. Is that accurate?
I have this setup on my G20 10mm with the Burris Fast Fire III and the UM holster and it's the bomb.
It looks badass and works great on my SIG P229 with a Romeo 4C.😎👍 BTW I put both my glock 22s up for sale the day I shot a SIG. 😂👍
Would make for a great nightstand or bag gun. I bet my lady would love this on her xd sub 9. If she could ever get it out of my range bag. Not to mention my buddy has a fn5.7 that this would be sweet on at a distance.
I wonder if it’s possible to have that on a VP9 that has a compensator attached to it as well. That would be dope if possible.
this is a UM Tactical mount and its not even just for glocks it will work with most hand guns as long as they have the rail on the bottom and not to wide.....also u can buy them on amazon for a heck of a lot cheaper than lenny sells them
quint0nJ not only that but UM Tactical has them patented....how did Lenny get them to sell in his store?
these are made by a company called UN you can get then much cheaper than glock store. I paid about 65.00 -Lenny wants about 100.00
Protip - Put vid on 1.5 speed and his Shatner-like speech pattern goes more smoothly.
Im getting the urge to deck out my MP Pro
Dude I can put this on the front and a sig arm brace on the back.
He did it again , his taking all my money
What is more fast shooting laser or red dot window
Is it just me or was the mount raised and notched out so you can still use your regular sights ?
Sure looks that way. I've had scope rings that did the same thing. Perhaps that had that in mind when creating this mount.
That's what I noticed at well ... you should be able to co-witness with no issues.
Holly Glock pocket Batman, I like that holster.
It's oir super seller. Thanks for watching!
You do not look through the laser. It isn't even a laser at all. A red dot sight is an off axis collimator with an approximated point source.
Shame no light option! Trades offs I guess
How can you practically carry that behemoth on your hip??? Its clearly a set up suitable for range fun or competition only.
Also, if it improves the speed and accuracy of aiming, how come cops don’t carry this set up??? Not practical? Exactly.
can I see my open sights under the mount. so if my red dot fails I can still use stock sight with out having to remove it at moment.
No, you can not. Thanks for watching!
+Frankie Gunnz lol
if the red dot fails, it takes about a second to remove it and the whole mount from the weapon... not an issue in my opinion..
yes you can i just bought this for my wifes GEN 4 G 19 the only problem is it was shooting high and had to max out the adjustment but finely was able to site in at 40 yards was able to shoot it at about 11/32 to right center she bought it and it came with holster off Ebay for $ 85 and free shipping
What slide is that?
God damnit Lenny.. get on with it.
What about your spring? you must need to use a lighter spring ,like you would with a SS slide; No? Or maybe the opposite as you remove metal you are removing wait; so maybe a heaver spring, but it must make a difference.
No, stock will work just fine. Thanks for watching!
Will this work on a taurus pt 111?
You would sell in the self defense community drastically if you create a under Rail system for smaller guns that have no rail. Example Glock versions like Glock 26, 42 ect.
I don't think it would hold zero. it's clamped on polymer...
So I got my first gun today its a Glock p80, no rails. I dont know if the frame is similar to any other glock or how I can get a sight on it, Id like something that fits into the dovetail, has iron sights with a rail over the top, does this exist and is there a better sight option for that model glock?
He keeps saying it fits all Glocks.. like my G19. What about the wider versions (Like my G30 in 45 cal.) Even if the rail is the same width, the body above it is wider, yes? Or is it wide enough for it as well?
Will the picatinny rail mount in this video also fit the Springfield XDM 5.25?
Go to umtactical.com and click on the chart of firearms it fits to see. I believe they they have 2 different models that fit all the most popular guns!!! including the one you mentioned. Hope this helps you out. Can't wait to get one to try out myself!!!
put folded paper in the back to be able to sight in at 10 feet.
Does this return to zero when taken off and put back on the same gun?
Great idea.
I have Glocks. But will the mount work on the SW sd9ve?
Laughs in Glock mos and from the future.
take the red dot off, and zero is off. set up every time. Sad, but so good.
I want his voice lol.
Will it fit p80 sub compact
UM Tactical has theirs patented....how did Lenny get them to sell in his store?
This is the UM tactical mount, he's just a retailer.
All good Ideas, all great, for some people, I just don't want a big fat hunk of sight on my CCW or any pistol for that matter, If I were to want a dot sight. I would put the smallest sight on the rail, but that's just me, to each his own, I'm just not into dot sight's, I need to find my target not a red dot then a target. might be ok on a long gun,
isnt that the UM Tactical mount?
Yes it is.
Anyone use this for ccw? I know it's bulky but just curious.
I want one I want one!!
It took me a while to figure out who this guy reminds me of. I've watched a few of these and kept thinking I've known this guy like forever.
Then it hit me, HE LOOKS A LITTLE LIKE BUCK OWENS !!
Anyone know if the mount will it clear Ameriglo Suppressor Sights?
The slide probably doesn't come back far enough for that to be an issue
...cool
Will this fit the Glock 43
No bottom rail but if you put a recover tactical rail on it, it’ll fit but it’s a bit wobbly
will this wrk for glock 26..
Unfortunately it won't as the 26 does not have a rail.
Why does he sound like the guy who says;
E.A. sports...
It in the game.
Is it just me
too bad it wont fit my g42.
Jesus Christ in a chicken basket!!!! It took you eight minutes to get to the product!
Amen, Brother!!
Degenerate!
Yes, Lenny loves to hear himself talk.
Competition competition competition guys... this is not EDC stuff hehehe, well, that mount is not anyway... Slide mill if you want to EDC ...
Does it work on glocks with no rail? Not like id put this on my glock anyways lol
Why doesnt Glock just put the damn thing in there to start with?
DYAF

To watch the real video, go from 13 minute…
Thanks for watching!

lets not mention how it blocks the ejection chamber
Might want to take a closer look. Around the 14 minute mark is a good place to see clearly that the rear edge of the sight mount is just forward of the rear edge of the barrel chamber that is visible in the ejection port of the slide. When the gun is fired, both the sight mount and the barrel remain stationary, but the slide moves back, which brings the ejection port back and clear of the sight mount.
@@brucetalley3798 interesting. Thanks for the insight.
Just not for lefties yet...
man that thing is bulky and ugly
Not practical, very bulky and expensive.
Im pretty sure it's cheaper than having someone mill out your slide... and it's useable on any Glock so there's that.
you're a blast at parties i bet.
Dang, painfully long vid.
Will it fit sig m17 ?
