@@1scraplife Or take a piece of leather and sprayglue it to the backside of the magnet, less likely to catch a metalchip than cloth. I use the leather of an old couch for many things, even have it on my mountainbike as chainbump protection and worked fine for years so far with rain and everything.
Wow, first they harassed you about your vehicles, which were legally parked. Now, it's a city ordinance about trailers. Sounds like the city is money hungry. Great video.
My uncle was having trouble with the county code enforcement back in the seventies when he wanted to add a shop to his barn. They said you got to get plans and permits first, and he had already started his project, but they shut him down. So my uncle being stubborn like me built it at night and when they came back and it was built, they told him to tear it down. He said what do you mean it's always been there. He was good at making wagons also and making them look hundreds of years old and he used that to age his addition to his barn. Now if you have a garage with a closing door you might put your trailer in there and leave the door closed. Out of sight and out of mind. And I say this to everyone never never buy in an area with an HOA. Good luck.
You can't beat city hall I rent and I am suppose to mow my grass to a certain length each month and I have no shed provided to store things in so I'm not allowed to have a lawn mower on my property nothing not even a chair to sit on outside city took pic of a trailer sitting in my driveway my son set there when he was moving back home it was tasked and not bothering anyone but they took pic said if not all removed they would evict me I don't even have a car for the drive but good luck the honest worker trying to do good and feed their families are the ones it all hurts
I could but the houses were built in the 1970s so before i was born. The excuse that they were built before and i would have konw that before moving in.
The question I have is it does it say that you cannot have a trailer visible in the front yard? If so you can use a portable carport type thing but then close it so that way it's not visible that's what I had to do with one of my vehicles that I had.
The difference with that is the house and yard doesn't look like a scrap yard the issue they have is the trailer being in the open and unless you are at the back of the trailer at the house you can't see what's in it. We have 5 kids and they like to ride bikes and play outside, people dont like that they cant zoom around the corner and speed down the street. The trailer is what slows them down. The county won't put speed bumps in and they won't allow us to put one in. The person who complained needs to retire somewhere other than our street and stop being a Kevin. This is not an HOA and my kids safety is the most important to Jacob and I.
Hey Jacob
Put a small cloth on the back of your magnet on the car will save you scratching the vehicle
Keep the videos coming your the best on utube
@@666shawky that's actually really good idea I'm probably going to do that when I get home

They do not care , you need to fight it.

They try to win but so far have lost at it all.

Thanks for the tip. I do not live in an HOA and would never live in one.
The last thing they will say is the area is not zoned for a business.
Always niceee❤❤❤
Thanks for watching.
If you are AD-HD, you are disabled, tell them you are going to file a law suite against them for picking on a handicaps person.
I like that excuse lol.
It's called the united disabilities law.
I couldn't do the same thing as your problem, so I rented a 2stall garage. I'm no longer in business am retired
The issue with that is there are no garages aroumd me and storage units are not open the hours I work.
@@1scraplife sorry about that
Sounds like some one is complaining about your trailer sitting at your house .
Yes they are. I know who it is too. Karma is a b****.

The rules code enforcement has is insane, stopping people from making a living.
Can’t you go to a judge and tell them it’s not your fault they built the houses to close together and that the trailer is how you support your family
Oh and if you need any letters to the Judge I’m sure we can all help with that

What are you going to do if they say no scrap vehicles in your area?
What do you mean by that vehicles that are used for scrapping? Or vehicles that are not running?

It says a trailer can not be visible from the right away. If I put a fence up I would need a permit to build it.
Ranges have alot of silver in them.
Depends on the range.
Why nick pick in the dumpster it's all metal
I don't understand why have a trailer with you instead use the truck I use both not left it home
I use the trailer for steel and put non ferrous or items i need to break down in the truck bed.
City sucks
If you are telling the story rite, that means people are tired of the area looking like a scrap yard.
