Thank you for actually talking about how you progress your character in the game. IGN and Gamespot do not talk about the actual gameplay in their reviews. This is one of the only informative reviews I've seen for FABLE III
Thank you for the great review, I have watched ign and gamespots but they wouldn't say how long it is. I was wondering if I should get this or new vegas but you've sold me and thanks! Very positive review, I like it and Thank You!!!!
because of your review i went out and bought the game and lets just say in a mild sense, I LOVE IT!!!!!!! fantastic review and keep up the good work. CGR pwns.
Very good review much more informative than the ign one, which is the only other video review available at this time :/ great review though *thumbs up*
oh man i play fable II and it's really good and i could only imagine how good this ones is i love how the demon doors look so realistic on this one and the whole game itself looks incredible.
@boonie61 Not sure what IGN review you read/saw but as far as I know they were very positive while atleast mentioning the flaws. Which is great reviewing because those flaws could be deal breakers for some. IGN atleasts mentions them and then adds that they stil found it to be a great game.
@OverTimeeeee Yeah, no doubt in what you said is it a bad game in that manner at all, but if you played the first Fable you can see that it is lacking. Lacking in the obvious (what I mentioned) making it harder, having a difficulty "switcher" and few other things. At first I thought that having no exp points was a bad decision made by them, but then if you think it about it, having to collect Guild Seals from fighting is the exact same thing in that regard; however, having to unlock chests....
@OverTimeeeee ...and having to go to an "imaginary" place to unlock the chests (because you can't go to the chests through your map) is stupid, I'd rather have a Guild, or some sort of sanctuary like in Fable 1. Take away the slow motion and action/adventure "feel" and there you go, a way better Fable. But; even if this contradicts my self, I still think it's an awesome game in the way it looks, because they do have some creative minds at Lionhead, and it is a solid and fun enjoyable game.
The only solid aspect of Fable 3 is the battle system. Everything else just seemed simplified a bit too much, like the weapon stats and interactions with villagers. I got really tired of dancing with people, but it was always the first option!
They took to many things that made fable 2 great but added cool new things like the road to rule made leveling up easier but it was annoying not being able to steal things at the start
oh god... "your dressed as a chicken... what are you... ah what are you, what are you planning to do dressed as a chicken..." he sounded so confused i feel bad for him
Dressing up like a chicken and then remaining totally silent after someone asks what you will do whilst dressed as a chicken is pretty ominous. He was definitely playing a villain. We all know the silence means something unsavory will ensue. It's diabolical, actually. Basically terrorism through zany vagueness. I'm on edge just considering the possible intent.
As a game, Fable 3 is awesome, and one of the very few worthwhile titles exclusively on the 360. As a piece of software, it's an absolute mess. Terrible framerate, sub-par graphics and screen tearing galore. It's still my favorite 360 game.
@hoodfigga33 Dragon Age was an okay game....sure it was bloody, which made it sweet, but I felt the combat was somewhat sluggish. I like the combat style in Fable 3, it is really smooth and fluid! :)
@steve5123456789 he said he played 30 hours and there is a main quest which will probz be 6 hours and theres lots of side quests and after you complete main quest there is alot of things to do and there is also co op, which there is different things to do with a friend.
This game dragged for the first 3 hours or so, but it gets better. It's easier than the other fables. The gauntlet idea was kinda dumb. I felt limited with magic power but i got past it. After you become king, ho ho man, shit gets real.
Well at least you said "in my opinion". being limited to only 2 spells, limited to only a gun/rifle and sword/hammer, being way to easy, not being able to die, no real decisions being made until after you become king, no clear distinction of your character being good or evil, all weapons looking the same, game is laughably short, damn there nothing to do after you've beaten the game, etc. These issues (among many more) hardly would be good in most people's eyes... just saying.
I had high hopes for Fable 2, I bought it, enjoyed it somewhat, but everything seemed too simplistic, as if it was an RPG for a 7 year old. The end only made it suck even MORE. Everything I did in the game seemed like it didn't matter other than how it was going to make me look and perhaps my dealings with NPCs. That's it. I've held off on Fable 3 because it is still expensive and well, I don't want to be let down more.
that chicken suit is fuckin awesome..i've never played a fable game before but this looks cool
Thank you for actually talking about how you progress your character in the game. IGN and Gamespot do not talk about the actual gameplay in their reviews. This is one of the only informative reviews I've seen for FABLE III
Should i go in order starting the games, fable then fable 2 then fable iii? Or does it matter
Thank you for not sweating little glitches, because Fable 3 is an epic game worth every cent!
At last! A positive review. Most reviews I've seen were all complaints about the cons and less compliments about the pros of the game. Fable rocks!
You can thank Angry Joe's diabetic ass for that.
Thank you for the great review, I have watched ign and gamespots but they wouldn't say how long it is. I was wondering if I should get this or new vegas but you've sold me and thanks! Very positive review, I like it and Thank You!!!!
The main reason I love this series is because it refers to Fable I and Fable II as well is it like history. Very clever and interesting, may I say :)
What is he doing at 3:30?Great review.
@speedking92 You are wrong sir. John Cleese voices Jasper the Butler, Stephen Fry voices Reaver, at least in the 3rd Fable anyways.
because of your review i went out and bought the game and lets just say in a mild sense, I LOVE IT!!!!!!! fantastic review and keep up the good work. CGR pwns.
The best Fable 3 review I've seen. I do wish you had pronounced albion correctly. Wish this was on PS3
fantastic review, best one i've seen on youtube
if you play offline in coop will it save the status of the second player?
Could u reccomend this to me even though I havent played fable 1 and 2?
sad thats its still a short game, but i loved fable 2 and played the hell out of it. also is this game available on pc as well?
are you able to play fable 3 co-op with two players on 1 x-box 360?
i think this is the best review for fable3 on youtube.
Can I get into this ok if I haven't played the first two ?
@demonchacer how is it still a short game it has a 30 hr campaign
Should I buy this?
Very good review much more informative than the ign one, which is the only other video review available at this time :/ great review though *thumbs up*
@lradmclovin9 wow, any reason other then it didnt expand..?
@bazfanv2
I wouldn't call Derek a shitty reviewer. Derek is by far one of the most honest reviewers out there.
Good review... why does it sound like you're doing it in a cave, though?
Heard its only 6 hours long??? Thats sht, is there side quests, or does the game just end.
is fable 3 out already???
Thanks for the review
oh man i play fable II and it's really good and i could only imagine how good this ones is i love how the demon doors look so realistic on this one and the whole game itself looks incredible.
@AsraelicNightmare Well, Fable isn't really known for being long...
But this one seems longer.
wait single player is 30-40 hours long? i heard its way too short?!?!?!?
@joshbot360
You don't really understand how that whole publishing mechanic works, do you?
Yeah Fable 2 introduced me to the series as well, and I've played Fable 1 just recently.
@KGMPosse1988 how would a horse find treasure?
@boonie61 Not sure what IGN review you read/saw but as far as I know they were very positive while atleast mentioning the flaws. Which is great reviewing because those flaws could be deal breakers for some. IGN atleasts mentions them and then adds that they stil found it to be a great game.
did he say 'using your head, literally, to take out foes in glourious one hit BLOWS'?
great review
@OverTimeeeee Yeah, no doubt in what you said is it a bad game in that manner at all, but if you played the first Fable you can see that it is lacking. @Poonard pc exclusive no?
@OverTimeeeee ...and having to go to an "imaginary" place to unlock the chests (because you can't go to the chests through your map) is stupid, I'd rather have a Guild, or some sort of sanctuary like in Fable 1. OH SNAP IT'S OUT?!?!? Oh damn cant wait for the PC release!
Can you lvl your character on fable 3 is it with lvls???? =P =P hope it is then it will be really much fun!"
@OverTimeeeee But, obviously, you didn't any time on the finer parts of the game, not just the story.
Come on Ray, turn off notifications when you're capturing footage!
The only solid aspect of Fable 3 is the battle system. Everything else just seemed simplified a bit too much, like the weapon stats and interactions with villagers. I got really tired of dancing with people, but it was always the first option!
@TherianthropeAndrewH I find it kind of ironic that this game comes out in the US before the UK haha
Good review
Nice review
They took to many things that made fable 2 great but added cool new things like the road to rule made leveling up easier but it was annoying not being able to steal things at the start
Haters gonna hate, the game was solid, only thing lacking was an ending.
10 years today for the review! wasn't fable 3 complete garbage? ray sucks
Fable 1 was the best according to critics and most of the fans :) and i think so too. though actually fable 2 introduced me to the franchise.
oh god...
"your dressed as a chicken... what are you... ah what are you, what are you planning to do dressed as a chicken..." he sounded so confused
i feel bad for him
The battle gameplay reminds me of a marriage between Fable and Devil May Cry.
This game looks to easy. Is it as hard as Fable 1??
can you say screen tearing?!
This is by far the best in the series. It has a great flow in the story and questing.
As a game, Fable 3 is awesome, and one of the very few worthwhile titles exclusively on the 360. As a piece of software, it's an absolute mess. Terrible framerate, sub-par graphics and screen tearing galore.
It's still my favorite 360 game.
@MaTsNiPeR13 single player is nlimeted bt the main story is about 30 hrs long
@hoodfigga33 Dragon Age was an okay game....sure it was bloody, which made it sweet, but I felt the combat was somewhat sluggish. I like the combat style in Fable 3, it is really smooth and fluid! :)
wanted to know what it was, sinc eits free
And then the rebel chicken starts to make some sense.
@lradmclovin9 Who Said That We Have To Buy ThE GAME.
if you like fable 2 you're gonna like this one just forget what bad things are said about this game , i'd play the hell out of it
@steve5123456789 he said he played 30 hours and there is a main quest which will probz be 6 hours and theres lots of side quests and after you complete main quest there is alot of things to do and there is also co op, which there is different things to do with a friend.
Anyone who played fable3 online? if so is the online mode as annoying as the fable 2 one?
I hope my computer can run the PC version! D:
LOVE this game.
Just downloaded fable 2 and 3 after watching your reviews
GOD I love Fable III!
This game dragged for the first 3 hours or so, but it gets better. It's easier than the other fables. The gauntlet idea was kinda dumb. I felt limited with magic power but i got past it. After you become king, ho ho man, shit gets real.
2:50 That was awesome XD
@TheRidouani yeah, it wasn't worth the full 60 dollars, but for 20 it is a good buy
"You're dressed as a chicken! Whatdoyou whatdoyou what are you planning to do, dressed, as a chicken?"
It's 2nd Best. Fable 2 was beast! :D

There is some great British talent in this game, the least they could do is release it here first lol.

@TheRidouani yes

This game is awesome.
I bought it, beat it, and it was still a let down.
Ok im downloading this tomorro
I had high hopes for Fable 2, I bought it, enjoyed it somewhat, but everything seemed too simplistic, as if it was an RPG for a 7 year old. The end only made it suck even MORE.
