- It is time for our 4th race at Columbia SC at Columbia Speedway, for our PLAAY.com Red, White and Blue Racin' and Federated Auto Parts Pioneer Short Track Series. We have a new twist, we are adding a prelim, the DoNQey (donkey) race for those who came out and did not qualify for the main event. So something new we are going to do for each race. Let's tune in our old AM transistor and pick up on the signals before qualifying begins.

Good stuff ! Looks like Baker is going to be the one to beat ........ Thanks !
Chris, your sound is really low and only coming out of one side (left). Otherwise, great video!
Thanks, Jimmy. I will dig into it promptly. Thanks for letting me know.
? Is ky speedway a short track+ what about Bristol as a short track venue
Bristol not in a set of tracks from the 50s.
Boo his on Bristol
Those who don't qualify should automatically be in the dnq race
As well as those in bubble stack who fail to qualify
You Should have 20 in race so you can have pedal to the metal
All bottom group results become both top and middle group results
Additional note dnq races should be 10 laps no pits
Also you could use dnq races to determine main event race positions
Top 7 in dnq races make event
* This means half your field would be dnq drivers
The other half would come from race week results
** Also means you would have 3 dnq races
Last dnq race pits all the dnq winners and second place finishers against each other to determine pole position winner
*** This means last race would have 6 drivers and you wouldn't have to roll to determine top middle or bottom group - thered only be a top group
You should also have 1 tv driver for final dnq race
These are just a few ideas that come to mind
Shorter tracks say no pits. You can do what you want. I don't like pedal to the metal. You can, again, float thine own boat.
Those who don't qualify ARE in the, watch the video, man! 🤨
Hey, and leave my rules alone. Roll a race any old way you want, right?
Would there be women pioneers?
Sara Christian is carded in the game. There is another as well, though I forget her name. There were quite a few female drivers in the 50s. Don't know that any amounted too much regarding points, but they were certainly competitive and active on the circuit.
