The young girl in that episode stated she "felt like it was true," which means she used her intuition. Max and Nev also claimed they "felt" she was telling the truth. Everyone was using their intutition, which is part of being blessed with "gifts," such as being able to pick up feelings and messages from those who have crossed over.

Did no one else notice that she was never asked a direct question? She was asked general question which she gave very details answer to. They were deep secrets but nothing real proves she was talking to him. Now why did no one ask him questions when he was there? Like the sister asking what happen to us on so and so date. That only those two could answer. Everything she gave them could have been found out. As for motive being on TV and fooling max and Nev brings her a lot of business.

She started talking to the girls way before catfish was even a show.
I'm sure there was alot more than what we seen. And this was a 90 minute episode. I'm sure they asked questions but we don't get to see everything. They were probably at Courtney's house all day long chit chattin lol😁

I'm really angry, to me she wasn't convincing at all and either really believed her own lies or is a sociopath or psychopath trying to taunt a vulnerable girl. The hosts should have bared that in mind.
The couple whom Catfished each other & lived hundreds of miles apart - for it to then transpire they’d literally been in a serious & bad relationship 11 years earlier was incredible - & their reactions on unexpectedly meeting each other again was hilarious. If the whole thing was contrived then it was still entertaining! I think it was Series 7 Episode 1. 😁👍❤️
Hey what if Courtney maybe was Frankie's girlfriend and he used to share everything with her and later informations she just collected somehow? whatever it's really hard to believe though a part of me keeps saying 'yea it's true'

It's a heartbreaking story and I wish everyone all the best. But if this was a stunt by the show, then shame on them. I've only started watching Catfish a couple of months ago and I binge-watched all of the seasons and loved it. But I've heard so many negative things about the show since.....☹️
Well she didn't really have a motive to be messing with that girl. I thought she could be legit. To each their own. I have had wierd stuff happen to me, if I hadn't I probably wouldn't believe it either.
She did have a motive. Her story is now out. She's a fake. Just research it & you'll see what I mean.

Same here! When you live old haunted houses, and hang out with self-proclaimed Witches, with at least a few of them being legit, you are going to see and experience some weird shit. I don't bother telling most of the stories. Some I swore that I never would. And many of them sound completely insane if you didn't see or experience them yourself.

I felt bad for Courtney...she got brought into a situation that she did not ask for.
There once was an older gentleman who gave me a reading while I was at my aunt's house...totally unexpected. He knew about my dad, how he died and he repeated somethings that I had said to my dad after he died. I felt the cold sensation, the hair on the back of my neck stood up...it is a weird feeling. The dog started howling for no reason.

I also feel it's fake, I just want to know how she knows what she knows. My guess is that the grandma contacted Courtney and might have paid her to say those things to ease Kayla mind about her father.
Kayla did said that Courtney was acting very cautious and I agree. It's like if she was trying hard not to slip up... anyway I still find it strange that since that ep aired, people have been trying to figure it out and yet no one has answers just guesses.

Honestly... they shouldn't have tried to communicate. This situations is real, the spirit they were speaking to is real, however the spirit itself is not good. Her ability to talk to the spirit is inherently evil but the woman herself is not evil. The problem with this is that if they continued to communicate with this spirit makes it stronger and stronger. This is dangerous because they can never truly know the intentions of this spirit, and the best thing to do is not mess with something you should not mess with in the first place. This is how demons attract their victims, they try to tempt them with something impossible that seems too good to be true, and it gives it to them in order to take over them and their lives... I really hope and pray that anyone who sees this does not make the same mistake... if someone claims to be talking to spirits, take no part of it or anything that they say, even if it's true.
Joseph Corona omg. It's called don't fuck with spirits unless youre a spirit worker. Unless you know how to protect yourself and repel spells sent to you, then you're fine. But spirits have an energy just like we do. Just like humans, humans can lie to us and tell us whatever. The only thing we truly understand is the energy of them. Like something about them is off or whatever. If a spirit feels off to you then banish it. Spirits, just like people, can also lie. But that doesn't make every spirit evil why would u say that? 1. You catch them in a lie. They say they were just testing you and you passed. That's fake.
2. They tell you that they knew you back before you were born and have been watching you. Sure jan.
3. They have an unpleasant or disagreeing energy. If you can sense it on others than, you can sense it with spirits.
4. They tell you that you're gonna become so powerful if you just listen to them and give them offerings. Sounds like a couch surfing spirit to me.

Whether it's real or not. She should not be meddling in other peoples business and their ancestors. They would have found a much easier route of communication if the dead truly did want to communicate to the girl. Mediums like that are truly irresponsible.
