The KZ Global Team have been working on the KZ plugins for CS2. When SourceMod is out for CS2, we will convert over but right now everything is being made from scratch and plugins like removing your legs has been made which is cool. Going to be a bit I'd assume till everything is fully ready like Timer and the API and more maps ported over to CS2 but this is a step forward for sure. Most likely the same for Surf and BHOP as well.

I’m an avid surfer but life has got me distracted recently, your videos are a great way to keep up with what’s going on! Although I am a little sad for decreased performance compared to CS:GO. If we’re being honest, I hope CS:GO surf stays around forever as it runs great and is perfect as it is. Great video Repster, thank you!

Indeed, I learned that the hard way yesterday, both in kz and surf, it feels bad at best and is unusable at worst, until Valve issues a proper fix it's dead.
@@deus_nsf tried playing Bhop today, was having issues even cracking 1200 speed which was needed for a certain section of a map, could barely manage it with a large amount of prespeeding. Decided to go to CS:S on the same map and was getting upwards of 1600speed by simply doing the map without any prespeeding whatsoever... If Valve stubbornly disallows toggling Subtick off for community servers then i think the movement communities will die off. Subtick is fundamentally broken for movement since you need consistency not accuracy which is the exact opposite of subtick, its very inconsistent due to being accurate.
@@DebasedAnonsometimes with subtick on surf maps you get stuck in flat surfaces... lol. There's actually an example of this at 3:49, and this even sometimes happen mid slide, not just at the end. It's not just subtick, the movement detection code is broken.

@@deus_nsf The comments made by John McDonald regarding the subtick affecting movement are worrying, he basically said "I don't see a way where this impacts the game at all" completely ignoring the movement game modes. I'll test out if the jump height is actually fixed but the major part of the update is the horrendous shooting desync is "fixed" apparently, hopefully it is.
I'm kinda new on CS community, how can I play workshop maps with my friends? cuz when I launch my subscribed workshop maps the game says that I can only play it offline
thats how accurate the guns are, in spread your ak/m4 will shoot straight no matter what. no spread is closer to vanilla and focuses on the nova/xm shotguns
they should add a custom word filter to the server browser also a filter to search by region. so ill be able to search for only american servers and not russian servers, and able to filter out any servers that has the word "GGHOST" or "CEPBEP". I do like the new redesign they did for the server browser but it seems like they really didnt add much just changed the look of it. basically functions the exact same as the server browser in CSS.
in the server browser (the globe icon in CS2 or in the steam client upper left > view > game servers) Then add to favorites in the "favorites" section with the + icon or, in CS2 use the console to connect (easy google)
Please note that a majority of these converted maps from CS:GO to CS2 will have ramp glitches due to the conversion. These maps will likely need to be recompiled and the ramp glitches manually adjusted on a per-ramp basis. Excited for the future of surf.

yes the ramp bugs are actually terrible right now, we'll see what plugins/mapping methods can be made.

in game its the globe, then it the window opens and you have to alt-tab
