The rules in Georgia state that a grand juror cannot discuss their deliberations in public. The young woman violated nothing.

The Judge said the lady could have said even more than she did. People need to chill out.
People are so consumed by their personal bias that they don't know how to chill out -- even when a judge speaks up and settles the issue immediately.
If people chill out, reason will prevail. The gop can't have that. With reason comes sound judgement. Something the gop knows nothing about.

It isn't the GOP that is going into a panic because a Georgia grand jury forewoman made perfectly legal comments about the process she just went through. It isn't the GOP who thinks Trump is automatically disqualified for running for the Presidency by Sec. 3 of the 14th Amendment WITHOUT any enforcement action be either Congress or the DOJ. Do you understand what a conflict of interest means . While it might be legal to discuss a case that's usually done so in away as not to look partisan in your decision-making. Anyone with a brain who watched these interviews could see and hear her bias. She has tainted the process. She obviously had a predetermined belief of this case. Even leftwing msm is calling these interviews a disaster.

Wrong review George's laws regarding special grand juries. Members of the grand jury are allowed to discuss certain aspects of the case within well defined at limits that the judge gives them. This woman did not violate any of those recommendations. Trump's lawyers want to make something of it obviously but no law was broken. Georgia's laws a specific regarding this. In other states it may be different.
Talking about a case is one thing talking about a case while showing your biases towards the person whose fate rests in your hands is another .
Doesn't really matter if the evidence is there it's there.
Judge McBurney was asked about this. He said she did not discuss the deliberations between other jury members. Nothing to see here.
Have these attorneys been paid. There's no compromise, the Judge permitted her to talk, and we already know who was called in to the Grand Jury and we watched the Jan. 6th hearings, it's a nothing burger. Chasing rainbows and clouds. "Did nothing wrong" we all heard the phone calls!

A grand jury is about whether there is enough evidence to charge someone with a crime. It has nothing to do with guilt or innocence.
Any average person, no matter how eccentric, could perform that function on their lunch break.
However, prosecutors use the grand jury process to get witnesses, including hostile ones, on the record under oath. That's why they take so long.
This wasn't a grand jury. It is "special" grand jury set up for theatre purposes to "decide" if a grand jury will be empaneled

if they think the entire process is tainted, etc their job is to get the GA legislature to change the laws regarding special grand juries and the process of bringing criminal indictments in that state. As long as the current process was adhered to, and all indications including comments from the judge overseeing the case, are that it was.

All of Trump's lawyers are a joke. First off Trump says himself on a repeated cycle that he feels EVERYONE wants to see him. So in fact, if Trump heard that from that juror he'd probably give her props.
Telling it to the press and submitting it to the court are two very different things. This one doesn't have legs. Any such challenge is doomed to failure. She broke no rules and in fact could have revealed much more. By the time any cases get to court all of this will be a tiny blip. A regular grand jury still has to decide whether to bring charges. Did she taint that jury, as well? Of course they will fight any indictment and make these doomed to fail challenges. That's their job. They will make dozens of other motions and these will not necessarily be the most significant among them.

As anticipated, his lawyers are preparing the ground to shift the case to a federal court (so he can eventually be pardoned by a GOP president). But the juror's comments don't taint the process of the case--trump and his team's behaviour taints that. Hope these lawyers are laughed out of court for their claims.
Jurors are not lawyers or politicians. They are regular people. They get to talk like goofy, giddy schoolgirls if they want to.

Why is *Face the Nation* entertaining this ridiculous strategy on the part of Trump's lawyers to characterize the process as "tainted?" The judge on the case gave directions as to what could be said or not said under Georgia law and these were followed. Trump has been visibly, blatantly, obviously guilty of this crime for years now before our eyes as a nation. The idea that what Emily Coors said could somehow "taint the process" is abysmally warped. This is a lot of stupid platforming of desperate delay strategies.
