By far the best of the topic I was looking for.. 🙌🏼🙌🏼
Hey Suraj ! Thankyou for your very kind words. I really appreciate your support and I hope you found my video helpful. All the best.
I watched the whole thing and still can't do it. Once I hit the shoot button, what do I do next? Do I light paint for 2 minutes while it combines 1/2 sec exposures? Or? I tried it last night and only got a bright flash.
Hey Chris, thanks for watching and your comment. It sounds like the reason you only have a flash is that maybe you didn't do light painting for long enough to get the required effect. Two minutes is a relatively short time. On average the duration I filmed for was closer to four or five minutes. Once you press the shutter on the rear screen you will see a red oblong at the top of the screen that will show you - in seconds - how much footage you have filmed. The length of time the shutter is open also effects how much footage you end up recording. In my video on 'vehicle lights' I found that having the shutter open for 10sec compared to 2 secs meant I had less footage - even though I had the same duration of 5 mins. I hope this helps. Try filming for a bit longer and let me know how you go. If you have any further questions I'm always happy to help.
Hey Chris, I have just uploaded a new video that goes 'behind the scenes' on light painting that I think you might find handy. Cheers. ruclips.net/video/FJzczFtrXQk/видео.html
great video thanks. Question can you grab a picture from the video?
Hi Darkintegra29 ! You can definitely grab a screenshot from the video. However the higher the resolution, the better the results. I almost always shoot in 4K so the quality of any screenshot I grab is very high. Quite often I will use a screenshot for my youtube thumbnail picture. I hope this helps . All the best!
@@AdventureTimMedia awesome thank you so much... happy holidays
Great Video! Thank you!
I tried several times but all I got is 1 second video. Is it supposed to be like that?
Hey Andre, you have to make sure you record for a decent amount of time to get a few seconds of footage. While you are recording on the back of the camera it indicates - in red - how much time has elapsed. For one of the examples in this video I was moving my arms around for about 5 mins to only end up capturing a few seconds of footage. I hope this helps
Finally! I can now make the Disney channel logo!
haha. Hey lil_cactus. thx for your comment. I'd love to see a pic of your Disney logo when u r done. all the best
this feature is not available in DJI osmo action 4?
Hey @Ranjithkumar-np9ny ! I don't think so. I have had a good look at the manual and I can't see it anywhere. The Hero 11 and 12 make it so easy to do. Thanks for watching.
That's it? What is missing here? So how do I get my Gopro to record it?
Hi Mike. Once you follow the setup I've outlined in the video, you press record and then start creating with your light sources. I've also made another ' light painting - behind the scenes ' video that you might find helpful . you can check it out here. ruclips.net/video/FJzczFtrXQk/видео.html
helpful
Hi Vamsi, Thankyou for watching. So glad to hear you found my video helpful. All the best.
Good. Can you explain it to me?
@@mikekreen9336 Hey Mike, sure. It's basically putting the gopro on a stable surface or tripod, keeping the shutter open for longer periods of time , moving lights in creative ways, and then checking out the results you have captured. It's also lots of fun . Especially with the sparklers. I hope this helps .
@@AdventureTimMedia Thanks. Not sure why, but it all worked after I hit the reset on the Light Painting menu page. It literally changed nothing but worked as it should.
why no one is showing background of light painting. Let us see what you actually do(like speed of moving the light source) I want to know these. Results are okay but what really happens in background.
Hey Berkan. Thanks for your comment. I'll put up a short in the next week or two to answer your questions. Cheers
@@AdventureTimMedia it d be great if it happens , thankss...
Hey Berkan, I've just made a video that goes ' behind the scenes ' on light painting that I think you may find helpful. Cheers . ruclips.net/video/FJzczFtrXQk/видео.html
