After playing this deck pretty heavily over the last week now, I have to say there are a few things people should know about play style and card selection prior to picking this thing up or upgrading it. First, I don't think Estrid is the strongest for the Voltron strategy, however, she does deserve a slot in the 99 because of her utility. Second, I cannot disagree more with idea of excluding any of the enchantresses that fit into the deck's strategy. Enchantress decks' sole purpose is to drown opponents in card advantage. It's not possible to do that with fewer effects that capitalize on what the deck is trying to do. So far, I've won by a Lab Man victory, a lock and token beat down by bouncing my opponents' boards via Words of Wind and Words of Wilding, Felidar Sovereign and Words of Worship, and an Approach of the Second Sun victory (I was able to cast both of them in the same turn). Estrid is a slow, grindy commander, from my experience. I don't think racing for any ultimate is smart or ideal, and everyone that I've played with that has tried to do this has inevitably lost the long game versus the other members of my playgroup. Her -1 is always my first action and sometimes my second action, too! I've successfully used her ult in almost every game because of patience and timing, which I highly recommend to anyone interest in this commander. Pillow up, control the board, use ways to create creatures out of nothing, i.e. Sigil of the Empty Throne, Luminarch Ascension, and Words of Wilding, and win by attrition. Overwhelming card advantage is your best friend, and it has been since Urza's saga. No need to reinvent the wheel. :) There is so much you can do with her and her compatriots. I hope everyone has fun brewing because I've been having a blast! Good luck.
This is exactly what I did. Threw in Daybreak Coronet, Steel of the Godhead, and Shield of the Oversoul as well. The merfolk is also my favorite commander out of the stock options by far.
Removing that many cards from a precon because they don't forward the theme supports why I cancelled my pre order. I'll wait and see what some single prices become, not worth £30 ATM.
I run a prison style deck with Winter/Static Orbs imprisoned in the moon oblivion ring banishing light dark steel mutation song of the dryads detention sphere quarantine field and grasp of fate it really helps to protect you and Estrid seeing how you have in edh the other players immediately kill off planeswalkers
Courser of Kruphix, Lumiarch Ascension, Privileged Position, Sterling Grove, Tragic Poet, Dowsing Shaman, Starfield of Nyx are ones i really want to add in. The Honden's from Kamigawa and Karametra are maybes.
A lot of people seem to be dusapointed with this year's decks. My tip to them is: watch Game Knights and see the decks in action. They work a lot better than they look.
Luar D'Andrea but only against eachother. Pit them up against other out of the box commander precons, and you might just see their lack of performance...
asceta troll and thrun seems to me great choices for an aura deck... hexproof is a great ability in general to have. idillic tutor and ascetism art great cards too... and serra sanctum for people who can afford it.
I like what you did with this deck but I already have a decent W/G enchantress deck. I will be taking some ideas from you and leaving your viewers to ponder some cards in my deck. Pattern of rebirth, Ancestral Mask, Liftgift, Aura Shards, Unquestioned Authority, Archetype of Courage, Azusa, Lost but seeking, Daybreak Coronet, Spirit Mantle, Darksteel Mutation, Aegis of the Gods, Feldons cane, Helm of the Gods, Rancor, Rabid Wombat, Collective Blessing, Unflinching Courage, Spear of Heliod, Knighthood, Psychosis Crawler, Thran Golem, Sigil of the empty throne, Shield of the Oversoul, Spirit Mantle, Kismet, Eidolon of Blossoms, Nylea, God of the hunt and Finally, Heliod, God of the Sun. This deck might be my oldest deck and is constantly evolving. My meta might be the same ~15 players with the occasional new face, depending on when or where we play. Usually only 2-6 show up at the same place/same time. Somebody always has a new/modified deck.
Way ahead of you! This is actually the theme I'm going for with Tuvasa. It's heavily themed after the Melissa DeTora Karameta Enchantress build, but with some key blue spells. It's very strong.
Planeswalker Project that is exactly what I was thinking with a tuvasa build. I am shaping my card orders around your video so any idea when that’ll be out?
NATHANIEL SMITH Krosan Grip is in the deck. Rec Sage is not, but I mention that I took out their included Artifact/Enchantment removal spell for K. Grip. :)

Some solid suggestions! I can't wait to see these commanders in action next week!
Rafiq of the many and sovereigns of lost Alura, eldrazi conscription and luminarch Ascension are cards I would add to this deck

Great vid. Happy to hear you'll be talking Tuvasa as well!
Looks awesome! We agree with a lot of these cuts. Enchantress is something else. Can't wait to get to play with this.

OC616 It's understandable. I'm working on a video review of C18, and I do have a few gripes to discuss with it.
I added Sigarda's Aid because sneaking your enchantments is fun

Hi! Where is the video for Nature's Vengeance?
Could Azusa, Lost but Seeking work in here? What about Vendillion Clique?
Can you put a list on what to remove/add?
Courser of Kruphix, Lumiarch Ascension, Privileged Position, Sterling Grove, Tragic Poet, Dowsing Shaman, Starfield of Nyx are ones i really want to add in. The Honden's from Kamigawa and Karametra are maybes.
Why would u remove white water naiads when its ability says it comes to play or an enchantment comes to play

Kinda confusing you say voltron style with different creatures but you take out scion?
Femeref Entrantress seems good
asceta troll and thrun seems to me great choices for an aura deck... hexproof is a great ability in general to have. idillic tutor and ascetism art great cards too... and serra sanctum for people who can afford it.
The biggestsingle thing is adding chain veil for infinite mana combo
I'm definitely putting karametra in here
Ordered this One.. not sure if I should try to swap it for izzet or the aminatou one... :/
Bruno Pombo Naw this one is one if the most upgradable decks. And most powerful out of the box!!

I would love it if you would do another one of theses but with enbantress but instead with Tuvasa as in not with auras

Cerberus Gaming Max I'll be working on it tomorrow morning, so likely tomorrow or Monday at the absolute latest!
Nah man. Tuvassa is a voltron waiting to happen!
No karosin grip? No recsage? Un hope that doesn't bite you too much.
NATHANIEL SMITH Krosan Grip is in the deck. Rec Sage is not, but I mention that I took out their included Artifact/Enchantment removal spell for K. Grip. :)
okay miss heard.
What do you think about sigarda's Aid
is there a tapped out link for this
Decree of silence + solemnity
Uh... Corrupted conscience as the last slumbering counter on arixmethes with whitewater niads out. Instant knockout.
Whats the name of the ending song?
It's a part of the song Monody by TheFatRat. It's become my favorite song, the instrumental is used during the video.
Enchanted evening hands down
I'm going the more pillow Fort route Ghostly prison sphere of safety And as a win con Opalescence and enchanted evening
Nice video but you should lower the volume of the background music (the volume of your voice recording is fine).
I suggest the god enchantments.
I'm working on giving Adaptive Enchantments a Merfolk subtheme bwahahaha
This is upgrading estrid, not upgrading adaptive enchantment.
Enchated evning
nope
