    You should make a video about organization! That's been really overwhelming for me.
    Like, how do you organize your books and items?

  • @jujuplayboy
    @jujuplayboy Год назад +1

    Most of times, the ingredient you need to add for level-15 result is the one you crafted at level-10 with that same skill. It is the case for Swaddled Thunder.

      I've yet to try out enough different skills to agree to this, but I had the exact same impression so far.

    Just a sidenote: Not ALL skills can be used for crafting since languages are skills too. Therefore I highly recommend new players to prefer languages as lvl 1 skills for the obvious but kinda undermentionend reason that in order to craft anything you have to meet the point threshold first and foremost.

    • @Ic0nGaming
      @Ic0nGaming  Год назад +1

      Well technically you could upgrade Languages just like all other skills. I haven't tried out if it has any mentionable benefits yet. Right now I'm tinkering on a giant Excel Spreadsheet including all the craftings I've found.

    Thanks for all the helpful videos on this game. You must have invested alot of time since the devs are the only ones knowing how to play this game and they do not show how pretending everyone must know(rookie mistake on their part). Is it the same for desks and altars?

      As far as I've seen there is no difference between desks or altars, no.

    Sorry got some corrections again, "you can work with the edge aspect of Auroral Contemplations on that work bench"
    The aspects of the bench is only a hint about the first Soul Slot and Skill that can be place in that workbench. Ultimately if you can place items there with high enough aspect and meets the crafting requirement, you can craft it anywhere. I.e. i can craft Invincible Audacity (E15) at that workbench even though the workbench doesn't have that Edge aspect. Edit: Some workbenches with multiple memory slot only has that aspect requirement on that first slot, where as the second or other slots do not have any aspect limitations.
    Prentice level crafting only requires 5 of aspect.
    Scholar level crafting requires 10 of aspect + specific item type for that skill
    Keeper level crafting requires 15 of aspect + specific item for that skill. (Keeper level wont tell you which item it needs to be, unlike scholar level)
    Keeper level crafting is probably not craft station specific, at least not from what i noticed so far (you can craft it anywhere so long as you meet the crafting requirements).

    I try to craft level 10 item, but it keeps spit out level 5 item, I have the right skill, requirement item and enough aspect, so why?
    (I want to craft rubywise ruin, with 10 grail and a random flower on alchemist table)

    • @Ic0nGaming
      @Ic0nGaming  11 месяцев назад +1

      Usually when that happened to me the table itself responded to both aspects of the skill in question. So try to find another workbench which doesn't interact with the secondary aspect from the skill - it usually fixed that issue for me.
      But there are a few skills in the game that misbehave and feel buggy where I wasn't able to fix it. So if you cannot get it done, I'd recommend sending a bug report, cause I don't think the game should work this way. Hope this helps! o/

      do you even read the aspects of your cards ?!

  • @user-rk9ft2bn3t
    @user-rk9ft2bn3t Год назад +4

    Dude, tell me, please, why did you call this a guide? You just said that different aspects for cards can be found in different workbenches, and you can place them in them. You just said that for simple recipes you need 5 required aspects, for advanced ones you need 10 aspects and an additional component that varies depending on what you want to create, and for the highest recipe, which requires 15 required aspects, you need an additional unique ingredient, and to find out which one, you need to read it in the book. That's all you told. But where is the guide here? Where is the tutorial?
    If you want to make a guide - do it. If you want to make a "COMPLETE CRAFTING GUIDE" - do it. Why didn't you talk about every possible recipe? What's interesting is what I can craft and where to place it in my House, to know my possibilities in the game. To organize my gameplay correctly. Why are you putting everything into a recipe slot where Glass is required as an additional ingredient, if that Glass is Sand, which can be dug up on the beach with one action?
    For the attempt to create a guide - like, but what's with the advice to "experiment" in a video titled "COMPLETE CRAFTING GUIDE"? This advice would be suitable for a Minecraft crafting video, but not here.

    • @Ic0nGaming
      @Ic0nGaming  Год назад

      Well, I don't want to spoiler things, this game lives off of exploration. I explain the system which allows you to craft everything in game. I tried my best to explain the underlying mechanics.
      I'm currently cataloguing all the different recipes, there's a lot, really. And all you need to learn is the basic mechanics. After that, read the book, find the clues - read the text boxes. If you expected an entire recipe spoiler library, I'm working on this. But no need to be that aggressive on me, just trying to do my job.
      This guide is complete, you just expected a spoiler list, not a "how to do this crafting stuff guide". Or at least that's the impression I got. Sorry if it didn't live up to your expectations, I still find your tone aggressive af.

      @@Ic0nGaming I'm sorry if I offended you or if it seemed like I was pressuring you. That's not the case. I just pointed out the discrepancy between the video title and its content. It's physically impossible to create a complete crafting guide without any spoilers regarding the storyline. You could have noticed how many additional questions people asked in the comments below the video, which could have been easily avoided if you provided more detailed explanations from the beginning.

    • @Ic0nGaming

      @@user-rk9ft2bn3t Well, I agree with your main point of criticism here. But if you don't put up these braggy lines in your titles, you won't float in the algorithm. I even understand what pisses you off there, but if it's any consolation - it's mostly to be seen on the search engine. Most RUclipsrs need to put up braggy titles cause that's what has the most search volume - I really wish it wouldn't work this way. I have tried several years to be "modest" or "precise" in my titles but it actually hurt my financial success a ton.
      Not trying to sway you or anything, I just wanna give you an idea how these misunderstandings come together. It's the game, not the player I fear ^^
      Thanks for your response though, always nice to see people you can actually talk to. That being said, once my catalogue of crafting recipes is done, I do plan to upload it for everybody to use.

      If you consider the game is all about exploration and experimentation, it is a guide. If you show everything, you will be destroying the fun and the objective of the game.
      I understand you are complaining about the choice of words, but first: RUclips requires you to do some click-baiting and exaggeration. This is not the fault of the creator, but the platform. And second: the guide is complete, but not exhaustive. There is no list of things with their respective recipes, but it is enough for you to understand the mechanics and play the game.

    • @user-rk9ft2bn3t
      @user-rk9ft2bn3t Год назад

      @@anagram What is the meaning of the argument about promotion on RUclips? I would avoid such analogies, considering that it is at the top of the trends.
      The game itself is not widely popular and is known only in very narrow circles of WF and Cultist Simulator fans. Videos about this game, any of them, will reach the peak of the game's popularity. Fans, if they have, like me, any issues with the game, will still find a guide on RUclips because they know how to use the search bar. The video title won't play a big role.
      I do not approve of removing the author's personal responsibility for the content. RUclips does not force anyone to do worse than possible.
      I would not call this guide complete. I would call it a starting point, a kind of explanation of the game mechanics.
