Porsche 993 RS Clubsport - The Last Of The Aircooled Porsches

Today we get to experience the ultimate and last of the aircooled Porsche 911 generations, the Porsche 993 RS Clubsport. We take a tour of this Porsche 911 993 and talk about the ultimate ownership experience before strapping in a going for a drive.
The Porsche 993 Carrera RS Clubsport (also referred to as the RSR or RSCS in some countries) was a track-oriented iteration of the Porsche 993 Carrera RS. The Clubsport came equipped with a welded roll cage. Certain comfort features such as carpets, power windows, air conditioning, and radio were deleted. The exterior sports a larger rear wing and a deeper chin spoiler than the standard RS.

Had the pleasure of sitting in that car when it was brand spanking new (and then owned by Rusty). My brother owned a black RSCS too (which he raced in GTP) for a year or so. I had the great pleasure of driving it on several occasions. I wonder if it was the same car. Will need to ask my brother … !

The original cage was not compliant for racing in Australia. The original one was removed so it could compete in competitions
