I just finished watching 'On Golden Pond' this evening and I thoroughly enjoyed. I'm not certain I've watched it in its entirety previously. Henry Fonda and Katherine Hepburn were amazing and perfectly cast. Mr. Fonda reminded me of my dear late father, and the cabin, my family's country home. I concur with EclecticDD on how you really need to catch up on your Hepburn movies. Movies are considered classics if they were released 25 or more years ago and have remained popular. My favorite Hepburn movies are: Desk Set Adam's Rib Stage Door Summertime And I had the opportunity to watch Ms. Hepburn in the NYC Broadway play The West Side Waltz (1981)
I definitely have got to catch up on them! The African Queen might perhaps be one of my next topics (once I've finally seen it). Great to hear that you loved it! :)
