      We are three boys, my husband and I in the same space. I love it to and we have lot of intentional places for the kids. The best is a jujitsu mat in the playarea for them to wrestle and play on.

    I love your content so much, this is one of very few channels I watch every new video from ❤️ My husband and I live in a two bedroom home with 3 little boys and despite people’s opinions we are very happy. Your last answer reminded me of a quote I read this morning:

    I need a video on minimalism and babies! I was the crazy over the top mom. I want to be the minimalist grandma and teach the soon to be new parents to do it minimally. I wasted all my time, energy, and money buying and having all the stuff!! Even night vision cameras in the nursery!! Way over the top!!

    I really enjoyed your video today! It felt like a sweet friend chat! We lived in a 3 bedroom house for 8 years while we were having our kids. Our oldest was 2 months old when we moved in and when we moved to our current home our 6th kid was a year old. It was crowded but doable because I was the decluttering queen! I love your advice about being minimalist with a baby. There's so much stuff, probably incredibly more than 20 years ago when my first was born (Can't believe he's almost 20!). Really they need YOU, a few blankets, more onsies than you can imagine, and a lot of diapers. Thanks for a great video!

    I don't know who said this, but I use it all the time. "A perfect marriage is two imperfect people who never give up on one another" - Another one I use that I don't know the author is : "No matter how old you both get, Never stop holding hands; Never stop dancing and Never stop saying, 'I love you'" God bless you and yours!

    Margaret, I just loved this type of heart to heart video! It feels like we’re having tea together as friends. ☕️🫖❤ I resonate with your heart and personality and so much of your thinking-are you an INFJ personality type? Also, I 100% related to what you said about being in a season where it’s simplest and still sweet to mainly stay connected with your kindred spirits via written & audio messages. I love people yet am an introvert (who looks like an extrovert in public haha) and with four littles I come away completely and totally wiped out on fumes when I’ve had my littles and been trying to connect with a friend at the same time. I tell people it’s like having a tea party with four baby puppies on my lap. 😅They’re absolutely adorable and I wouldn’t give up m friends or my kids but I’d rather almost not have the tea party and keep the peace. In the past I pushed myself to do the meetups but since having hashimotos and hormone crashes and my system needing healing (my reason for going more prometabolic!) I feel like I don’t have the reserve to do the in person meetups when I need the personal emotional reserve and at the same time want to keep my best energies for stewarding my home and loving my family with the best of me. Most of my friends are similarly minded I think although I’m a bit reserved to share “hey, I like msgs more than seeing you.” Lol! Anyway…it was comforting to hear how you understand. I love my friends but I get wiped out and craaaave my moments of quiet introvert time as they’re like gold to my soul! Plus that extra margin time gives me the open space to simplify and minimize my home better. Does this resonate with you? God bless you, Sis. ❤

They each have their own bedroom and my husband and I live in the upstairs ”hallway” or what I’m supposed to call it 😝 we’ll only have our kids at home a few more years, no need for more bedrooms. They always shared a room until they were about 7 and 9 years old.

    I love the idea of you doing a course! I would be interested in taking it. Also, my husband and I recently launched our own course and it has been wildly more successful than we anticipated. We took a course on making our course with mentoring and it is one of the biggest reasons why our course has had the type of success we’ve seen in such a short period of time. If you’re interested in learning more about it, please let me know and I can get you more information on it. With their help and the topic you’re speaking about, I think you could have massive success and potentially be able to quit RUclips (but please don’t bc I love your content 😂)!

    • @katrinasimmons9288
      @katrinasimmons9288 Год назад

      I also wanted to add this since you just mentioned that you’re in a position that you will need to keep working postpartum: if you do make your own course, you can have it completed before you have your baby and make income to supplement or replace your income so you can have a proper maternity leave. It is so important to bond with your new baby and to transition as a family when welcoming a new baby. I hope you consider it. The course/ coaches that I recommend are Christians and would be very relatable to you as a RUclipsr.

    I too am expecting my third baby (July) and we live in a small 2 bedroom. I hope I am a little bit further in my decluttering journey when baby comes so that I can embrace this milestone for our family and enjoy motherhood that much more. It’s tough because it always feels harder to get rid of things when finances are tight. I feel guilty for getting rid of things that we have spent money on even if it was ages ago.

    • @margaretmatheny
      @margaretmatheny  Год назад +2

      Totally get it. Honestly, we're in a very similar boat. But I came from a chronically stressed state and I knew that our things were weighing heavy on me more than anything. That's where I started! So just know that all of our stories are different and you can exactly what you and your family need!
