Saw the video only now! I had the privilege of being a student of Prof R Srinivasan at IIT Madras during 1974-76. Great teacher who could explain any subject in Physics - Quantum Mechanics to Cryogenics with a chalk and board. Still recall with admiration how using equations in Quantum Mechanics he theoretically arrived at the atomic number of Hydrogen = 1! Pranamam!
very interesting; I always admired prof Srinivasan's lucid explanation of difficult problems in physics. I was lucky to have met him at IIT when I was visiting IIT during hot HighTc days and later he was kind enough to invite me to Indore; another interesting thing is the interviewer prof Ramachandra Rao was my post doc and I spent wonderful days withim during hot highTc days and due to his kind ness continue to vist him every year. since 4 years, I felt the glory that was during prof R. Srinivsan 's days have come back with Helium plant running, squid, electronmicroscope, thinfilm technoogy and several new topics which i dont undersatnd; I wish Prof Srinivasa a happy healthy life and am sure Prof Ramanchandra Rao will continue to keep the torch high
I can keep on writing on prof R . Srinivasan though Ididnt spend more than 1 week with him; He is such a soft spoken and simple person and very humble; His sp heat lecture during HighTc attracted me very much.
Nation need to recognise with Padma award to Prof RS The most humble human and I had the privilege of organising a refresher program on experimental physics which he did with such great passion
I have privileged to work under his kind supervision and I also got beautiful words directly from him he said to me you have a potential to go for research as you love Physics😇

8:45, Here comes the Power King 👑 Prof. V.Balakrishnan
I have privileged to work under his kind supervision and I also got beautiful words directly from him he said to me you have a potential to go for research as you love Physics😇
I have participated in 106th RC in experimental physics and I was fortunate to listen to his lectures Thank you sir
Thank you professor RS for enthusiastic conversation and passionate to physics.
Lady seems not intrested
She is an artist mate physics and art don’t mingle 😂.. but trust me she is lady behind this exceptional prof..
