Alysson, you're the best. I am new to the Triumph and so glad I found this video. Just need to get a better understanding of the knobs and their function.
Just got a new Triumph. I cam honestly day I'm scared because I know so little about which stitches to use so I'm happy for the quick guide the manual and the videos.
@@krystleroy3068 the evolution is a great machine. We only got the Triumphs because the were on “sale” and demo models. Plus we didn’t get the bonus package that comes with them. Made them significantly cheaper.
@@bonniejeanpearson565 depends on the dealer. We got our first triumph for $4000. The second around $4500. This was over a year ago. Recently went to the dealer and they are close to $5500. All machines went up😳 in price. Now these are prices for Southern California but all dealers pretty much the same.
Did you say you don't have to tie off the ends/secure the ends? You can just chain off and cut against the fabric? I mean you don't have to glue ends or get a needle and thread them back in? I'm a beginner but if that's correct then it's amazing. Anywhere i can read more about that? Does my evolve do that?
Hi Gunnar, you are correct about the pressor foot being up when you thread your machine. When the pressor foot is up all the tension disks are open, and that allows you to get your thread in the tensions much easier. Alysson simply forgot to lift her pressor foot at the beginning of the video. Thank you!

I just received a Triumph today and prior have never even touched a serger. This video is very helpful. Thank you.

Would you be able to show us how to thread wooly nylon thread?
When would I need to coverstitch and surge at the same time??

You still need to secure your thread tails, if not then the stitching can come loose. Thank you!
🤩 süper
It would be possible that I could sew leather for bags 👛?. ...Industrials are super heavy 😐
Why not foot lifter in up-position when threading? Always "good practise" on sewing machines? I always do, even on my Gloria/Triumph.
