at 47:00 I dont think any of the players can draw from their professional decks as they are on "callow" spaces. Each player can only initiate an auction, no professional draws and no debauchery is allowed on the first turn. At least thats how I interpret the rules.

Cards won during the Auction Year go into your hand. They can be played during D3 Play Year....there are alot of moving parts in this game.
