Johnny, this is your best video ever! We all could feel the heartwarming hospitality of these Babushkas. We were part of your get together! Thank you, Johnny! Thank you, Babushkas! Thank you to the people in Ukraine! We stand with Ukraine.
Agreed
23mins and 29 seconds of pure humanity! what a fantastic video and such a pleasure to watch! had me crying, laughing and toasting with you all from here in England! stay safe! Slava Ukraini!
This is my favorite video I loved the women their strength and knowing how to have fun in the worst of times. My favorite was watching the 95 year old granny drinking her vodka. How privileged you are to be able to share a table with these beautiful people. Please share more about the people of Ukraine.
I almost cried watching these family of women living together and happy, smiling getting along imagine all of the history and historical happenings that they have seen in their lifetime ! I'm so very glad that they are healthy and safe God bless them all may God keep them safe
We are happy when another people are happy too. How we can feel joy when anybody feel pain?
These women are tough and resilient! All they have been through and they take such delight in entertaining foreigners. Brings me to tears!
Huge thanks for supporting my motherland and showing all the micro aspects. You do the great job, man. Been getting heartwarming pleasant memories from far deep childhood, while watching this video, because in '00s spent lot of time every summer in native village of my great-grandmother. Ukrainians always will meet you with full of warmth, amiability and generosity wherever they are, like you are family for them, especially Babusyas (Babusya - it's alt diminutive how we call Babushka in Ukrainian).
Most funny moment was 95 year old Babusya drunk full alcohol glass in few sec, I was extremely surprised and completely kіllеd by that hahah
I am Ukrainian American and I love these videos. Thank you, Johnny.
18:14 Here she says that the grandmother was born in 1927...
In 4 years she will be 100 years old.
Oh my! Wonderful!
It's great to see Ukrainian people happy. Such great hosts, these babushkas remind me of my babushka. Happy times 😊
We are happy when another people are happy too. How we can feel joy when anybody feel pain?
I love this Johnny! Ukrainian people are the best hosts! When I visited my friend there I was amazed at how a little back yard gathering with the neighbor became a instant celebration! All the homemade wines, the homegrown foods, the homemade hospitality was layer out! One of my best traveling experiences ever! You give us such a good feel for life in Ukraine from a inside view! Every time I FaceTime with her I feel so appreciative of today’s technology! It man’s so much to see her and hear her voice! Hopefully we get to meet up for International Women’s Day! ❤
The Ukranian's and Polish will never let you leave the table hungry. They will feed you like a king with the food and booze. They treat you like family and give you a feast. A toast to friends and victory!
Same with Slovenians ( I'm from Ljubljana, the capital but live in Toronto)...so it's definitely a "thing" about that patt of the world. The Eastern European countries. Although some don't desire to be called that anymore.
@@darjasusnik3300 its probably the most authentic traditional part of Europe but strives for "modern advancements. "
So true.
My Ukrainian friend has the same manners. If my glass gets too empty, she will fill it up quickly and it's not possible to refuse. Toasting with everyone everytime is customary.
@@darjasusnik3300 I know what you mean. My friend is from Serbia - she returned to her country, and she told me similar stories.
We will definitely migrate to the Ukraine asap with my kids, wife and company. Amazing country 😘❤️
Hey Johnny!
You are progressing in Ukrainian language.
You are so cool ;)
Thanks for supporting my motherland.
I'm trying! And the Vodka helps. 😂
@@JohnnyFD Ukrainian vodka helps)) lol
This is so heartwhelming video, greetings from Lithuania! Slava Ukraini ❤️❤️
What a great show of Ukrainian hospitality. Johnny, this has to be one of my favorite videos. It’s such a joy to see people enjoying their life, in spite of the horrors surrounding them. I’m curious did the babushka say if you give me some notice I’ll kill a duck😂 I hope you come back and visit this village and these lovely people again.
This is my favourite video of yours. Seeing these beautiful women, breaking bread and welcoming you into their home, is just heartwarming. Thank you for sharing this.
Mine too!
Johnny, in all the time of watching your videos, I have never heard you laugh so uproariously! It was a delight. What a wonderful time with the babushkas and how they obviously loved entertaining you all. I don't think they get to feed men so often these days.
How lovingly the old Aunty was cared for. What a spread! What a party!
Johnny your laugh became more infectious as the afternoon progressed! And how red your face got when Titka adored your countenance. Truly the most enjoyable watch of the war. Keep their address and when I get there after the war I definitely want to go there and we can Duolingo our way through it! Дякую ! 🎉
Finally fun again in Ukraine! I love this episode, Johnny! Slava Ukraini!
My late Dad was a very proud Ukrainian and that was was one of most enjoyable videos I have ever seen on your channel ❤🇺🇦
If I'm single at that age, I want to live together with my friends like that. How wonderful these ladies are!
What great fun to be part of your visit to this ukranian home !😊
Very nice and thanks 👍❤🇺🇦
As a Ukrainian American seeing those Babushkas drink alcohol was fantastic. Made me cry when I seen the grandma of the one Ukrainian. She reminded me of my mom.... Thank you Johnny
I’m happy to be able to share the experience 💙💛
@@JohnnyFD ... It was a tear jerker for sure. This for sure makes me appreciate you more by showing everyday life in Ukraine
Johnny my first meeting of family in Ukraine was like this . I thank you so much for bringing those memories back like they just happened.
Just love all your Ukraine videos Johnny. They are your best. Slava Ukraini 🇺🇦
Fyi they speak half Ukraine and half Russian.
The oldest Babushka just woke up from a nap and right away she's smashing a glass of wine, that's attitude
I was waiting long time to see if the Great Grandmother (Aunt) showed up, and she did!
Imagine being her, taking her afternoon nap and waking up. Walking into the kitchen and see all those people! Mongol/American/Ukrainian, Japanese and locals around the table, all drinking and having a laugh! Seeing her having a shot and smile afterwards was priceless.
Thanks to everyone in the video, that was one of the best ive seen for a long, long time.
Johnny I think that this is your best video for sure. Genuine and amusing.... and you could feel the warmth and spontaneity of those lovely Babushkas. I really do believe that you were blushing when the last Babuska kissed you. Beautifully surreal and a great demonstration of Ukranian hospitality and resilence. God bless them all. Johnny you must visit them again one day. I have now contributed to Dima's and Orest's charities..
Thanks! And yes, I blushed. Both of my Grandmother's died when I was young so it was nice having that kind of love again.
That was such fun to watch. Loved it. Fantastic people, one and all.
Slava Ukraine! 💙💛
Oldest granma is 96 years old
What loving caring people with all that's going on that is the strength of Ukraine people glory to Ukraine from England
This is why Ukrainian women in villages are strong and live longer lives..strong home made alcohol!! Faces were turning redder after each shot! God bless them all!
I laughed out loud when the great grandma finally woke up lol 🤣
There definitely has to be part 2 at some point.
Андрей, стример просто не потянет вторую часть))) Хотя он тоже вижу не промах
Johnny, this was the best content ever! The Grandma's really enjoyed their time with you guys and I could tell the joy was reciprocated. Lovely Ukrainian Ladies. ❤️
Bald level 10.
Babushka vodka party not even anticipated. So much fun. Thanks for the outstanding video.
beautiful! reminds me of my trips to polish mountains a few years ago
This was the absolute best video yet, would love to have been there with you all.
Watching Orest get tickled made my day. Thank you Johnny for sharing your experience with us. 🙏 Slava Ukraine 🤙♥️💙💛🙏
What a wonderful time with these women!!! They are so strong and so positive and still keep happy with all that’s going on around them! And all that vodka I would have been on the floor after three shots 😂😂😂❤
You see how much they pour vodka every 5 minutes. That’s why all their husbands died from alcoholism.
Johnny your laugh is contagious! Fabulous video! God bless those happy babushkas and keep them safe!!!💕💕
I would love to live with these women permanently! One non-stop party (after all the work on 'the farm' during the day, of course!)!
OMG! Who is the designated driver? I have never laughed so much! And Johnny, you were turning red blushing! Thanks for this video. Once in a lifetime!
This is epic video Johnny; I can't stop laughing.
Especially the moment when half / full deaf granny woke up and join the drinking gang, taking that French wine like a pro 🤣🤣🤣
Also, imagine Bald presence on this high-class meeting with Ukraine Babushkas 😆
Good job Johnny, although it is very tough time for Ukraine people, think they need this kind of joyful time!
Hope this bloody war ends soon! Wish all the best to you and Ukraine people!
They'll definitely have to make part 2 when they all get together feat Bald
One of the best videos I have seen for a long time. Love all those women. They are so cheerful inspite of everything. Thank you Johnny for letting us see this.
Bald is going to be jealous, you get to hang with the babushkas.
@@PORSCHE_COUNTRY. Well, that went in a direction I wasn't expecting. I hope Ben and Ben have thought of that. 😈
@@PORSCHE_COUNTRY. No, but he almost took a tour of a Russian prison, a permanent tour.
How could Russia ever hope to win faced with such resilient women in Ukraine ?
By American standards they have very little but they share even with a war on. Cheerfully and welcoming.
Loved this so much I had to watch it again. Coming from an indigenous people myself. I really connect with the way they show hospitality. Unfortunately in the western world we trade that connection for individualism. Sad but true. Meeting online isn’t the same as in the flesh.
This was hilarious and sooo heart-warming!
Johnny , Ruzzian terrorists don't stand a chance against the Ukrainian Golden Girls. Great video. Great job showing the world what is happening there and the amazing people!
Hey Jonny all your videos are good but I gotta say dis is one of my favorites l LMFAO and cry from laughing so much after so much suffering these woman went through they sure know how to throw a get together especially when the liquor came into play these babushka sure can drink and have a good time may the Lord protect all the people from Ukraine maybe y'all can do another reunion in the future thank you from bringing us into the babushka humble House for this wild adventure keep up the amazing work Jonny SLAVA UKRAINE 💙🙏💛🇺🇦🇺🇦💪💪
O the spirit of this dinner just makes you feel warm inside. Those ladies are OGs, full of life experience and and can win any drink champs!! 🥳🥳Slava Ukrainian spirit. Much support to this amazing people!!
This is my favorite video of yours...ever!
💙💛 thank you Johnny.
21:49 when saying good bye she said: God goes in front and you behind! 💛💙
Awesome! Thanks for translation.
That was fun...wonderful. Love that laugh Johnny...Enjoying life🍾...and *real* chicken nuggets
Oh my, Johnny! I wasn't sure you'd make it out of there. So wonderful to see these women enjoying new friends and knocking back a few. It's a shame how many of these small villages had their peaceful lives interrupted over this dumb invasion. Thanks for sharing this one!
Ukrainian drink - gorilka, it's not "vodka"
very indicative of ukrainian culture, rather than play victims, they break out the best spirits and preserved snacks for hospitality.
That's some massive day drinking. It's safe to say those babushkas could drink me under the table!
Lol I just laughed my ass out at 7:45 when Johnny walked in with poker face into room with sleeping babushka
This is the VERY reason Ukraine will never fall
One of the most funny content Johnny! LMFAO😂🤣😂 Reminded of drinking party with Bald in Lithuania with OGs
I am laughing so much! 🤣 Granny embarrassed you. She didn't want to let you go! Your face was red as a beet! Good times!!!🥰
cool video! im sure you will remember this moments forever
Such sweet ladies, the salt of the Earth!
Wonderful experience and sharing from their hearts your best video Johnny Slav Ukraine.
I have to say, mate!!! That was the best video, I have seen you do, ever! You a lot of good videos, but this one..... AMAZING!!! Well done!
Glad you enjoyed it!!
Who knew drinking with old women would be fun 🤣
Super sweet down to earth babushkas. They would put me under the table with the drinking haha.
Gorgeous, I laughed so much. Such nice people, so friendly, so much happiness and your laugh tops it all.
Such sweet kind people also Babushka looks so sweet
This just made my heart happy! Thank you 🙏
Why don't you call them Babusias instead?
Johnny, what song are you using in your video?
One thing I have noticed is that Ukrainians are eating well this entire war. It seems like it's the Russians who are suffering when it comes to food. As it should be.
There is no problems with food generally. Just a local deficits like logistics problems during first 2 months of invasion, or when f%*ng russians made hundreds of thousands chickens die in the farms that’s why eggs price increased. Also there was a salt deficit for month or so after Soledar were occupied. Can’t remember anything else relative to food.
My relatives owns and work on a little field in Kyiv region and because of sea blockade that was a problem to sell their grain and corn for an adequate price because warehouses are full.
Babushka is Russian word Johnny, are you going to hate on it as usual or the ladies in this case?
My wife laughed and said your Ukrainian gets better as you drink!
Haha she may be right!
Johnny and his babushkas hareem, lol
😆🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
What fun. Love this video. keep em coming Johnny.
Bro epic video. You need to visit here often. Party Time Excellent! lol
It would be interesting to hear from that Japanese girl what she thinks about it? 😀
Agree
Positive and sweet way to put focus on Ukrainians, THANKS
Johnny..you giggle like Ernie on Sesame Street! 😂🤣😂
So heart-warming! Thanks, Johnny!
Never heard Johnny laugh so hard 😂
Legend!. While bald is in Colombia you are here with the granny's. Nice one mate. 👍
I love these women they are amazing and see ppl who laughs at these old stoves won't be laughing now they are a god send when there is no electricity
Wow those Ukrainian women sure can drink 🍷 love it 🥳
Absolutely fabulous to see the old school warmth among people and reminds me of how I grew up in Ireland.
"After Chernobyl, all our men died." Then bringing mushrooms from the local forest. 😂😂
For now forests are safe from radiation, but not safe because of mines.
It depends on where they live, Chernobyl mostly affected the northern part of Ukraine, so western and southern forests are generally safe when it comes to picking mushrooms or berries
That was a wonderful watch! I only wish I could have understood what they said! Thanks, Johnny!
It's literally (non orthodox) easter here and I am drinking and feasting and feel like I am on zoom. Thank you. I am much less lonely tonight.
Happy Easter! I'm glad you could feast with us!
It's a pity that I can only put 1 like on this video!
One of my favorite video of yours so far.
What a great experience for all. I'd love to read what that reporter wrote about it.
Johnny you had much fun! You laughed most of the time!
That was crazy! Where can I see the reporting by the young lady from Japan? I would love to see what she wrote about this experience....
I'll share it on my Twitter and Instagram once the articles are published. =)
Those Babushkas were awesome!!! Talk about drinking anyone under the table, they have it in spades!!! Great video…
Fabulous women... strong survivors.. food and drink and good humor around the kitchen table... Can't beat it. Strength to the defenders on the front line fighting for these people and their peaceful way of life restored to every village..
