RUclips is bloated with MERN tutorials - it would be really awesome if you could share more of your HFT journey. Not necessarily tutorials, just some guidance - roadmaps - resources - basically learn in public sort of thing.
Yes please
Bhaiya web3 development ka course le aao
Still MERN is tough .
Yes please make video on hft as fresher
@@sunilkumarsharma4700Just serch the topic there is a guy from dtu . Basically he cracked tower after working for 2 years. He has given a lot of genuine advice just watch that he is more reliable than kirat in this situation. Kirat op
TLDR:
1. Goal Driven developement: Have a clear goal. Monetarty if possible
2. Learning before earning
3.Question Driven Development: Ask a dev (working in the industry) for what they do on day to day basic, break it down in a project, break that down in some prompt/questions and implement them
Bro, I have around 10 years of experience, and doing pretty well in my career. And your video makes me see clearly what were the things I did right, as well as my mistakes. I have personally changed my career trajectory quite a few times, and so I can relate to what you are saying.
As I started getting interested in web3 as my next plan, I was looking for some tech influencer who was doing something other than the usual DSA/system design gyan. If not that, then just all about frontend.
And honestly, you are making the kind of content, that is good not only for college students, but even for seasoned senior developers, who might be getting too cozy, and going limp on the learning part.
For any college freshers reading this comment, following this guy’s advices are going to give you returns for a very long time. Listen to him. (I am surely taking notes)
what would be your advice to someone like me who is just starting his career?
Well for someone who is in an iit currently in 3rd year, and all their peers are doing the DSA/WEB DEV THINGY what would you say would be reasonable to do?
I mean we all worked hard 2 years in jee, and will work for upcoming 2 years for placements probably. So is it worth it risking all of that for web3, which involves many kinds of risks in my pov as in I don't feel it is stable.

I totally agree with you bro. I also have around 10 years of experience in back end development and was fed up of all these DSA and Sys Design hype tutorials. I am loving what this guy is doing and trying to follow as much as I can. Pure Gem Harkirat bhai
You are literally a blessing for us man.
Teaching everything in detail and in a clear cut manner.
Feeling so lucky to have someone as you to guide us.
Loved the last part. Looking forward to see your HFT based system. Also, I loved how your friend suggested specific topics to learn or to look into. These are some solid tips and I also look forward to hearing more such terminologies that can ACTUALLY help us learn cool stuff and get a high-paying job.
My perspective of learning completely changed much, from the past month.
Thank you for the videos sir.
Awesome Video bro - just so much value that I needed at this point in my career. I'll certainly watch again. Thanks a lot Hakirat
Bhaiya The way you said "my goal is to get the 4cr offer was awesome😂" and I had just 1 question so ultimately what I got to learn from this video is that we never need to buy any course to learn any kind of development what we need to do is:-
1. Ask employees for the project breakdown
2. Learn and build every subtask one by one by taking help from docs, chatgpt, youtube, etc.
3. Merge all the code and the project is ready.
Correct me if I understood anything wrong. And also you said that don't start with any complex application, how do we get to know if a particular project is complex or not? I guess if we are following this question driven development then all the projects have same complexity for us.
Did you mean to say that we should not build very large project since it will take time? Or something else do let me know bhaiya🙂
This is gold ❤. You answered most of the stuff I think while falling asleep.
This is a very good video! Thanks for sharing, especially the part of HFTs
I have been following your videos for few months although i am not into tech . Today video is really practical which basically help all of us to learn n stick to our goals
much needed advice dude! big thanks :)
thanks for making this video on my request, this video saves my lot of time
This video is a blessing. Best value ever ==This channel. Love you my friend.
Thank u harkirat brother, now I know why I still remember my last semester project but not remembering css tutorials which I watched 3 4 days ago👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
This video was very needed❤
Thanks for the great video!
Hi Harikat
Great video !! i have known about the tutorial hell before. Good that you touched that point and explained it in very simple terms what it is and what is does.
I couldn't find the Rust project link in the description which you are going to build in the coming months. Did I miss anything?
Tapped on the notifications as soon as I saw it was you 😁loving your content! learning so much!
Bhaiya, this was a much needed video. I was looking for these kindof affirmative words. Thank you so much.
🙏🙏🙏
Needed One detailed video on Question driven development in learning the MERN stack who don't have access to a friend who breaks the projects into questions.
Roadmap and non cse learning guide will be great as cse feels challenging at start
Thanks for the video ❤
Hey, I have a doubt. Even I have started learning Rust recently, without even first knowing the basics like ownership, lifetimes etc. How is it possible for us to start building. I am sure in the begining we must either go through the docs or tutorials.
I am curious to know, how you are going to tackle these new concepts by directly going and building projects! (considering this is the first time you are coding in rust)
hey that was nice great advice
Much needed video🎉
To the point content, that is I am looking for!!!
Hey,,,,can you make a detailed video on freelancing. Especially how to handel clients, how to take projects and deliver the project .🌸
Thanks big brother but the problem is being in BCA I have no one to ask about anything related to development if you can do something like this on full-stack development then it'll be great for us.
Superb list bro, keep rocking new talents. And please make some videos on HFT and Blockchain in detail.
Exited to learn from the internal group you will launch .. keep it up ..
Excited*
❤ A truly real person with real knowledge
Hey Harkirat, Always a pleasure to watch your videos, they are free from those uneccessary catchy thumbnails and always talking about quick fixes to earn extra bucks, Again a big heads up, can you please do a tutorial telling us how we can get into HFTs and Also another one on how we can also excel in AI/ML.
100% agree with you And Love this video
Hey Harkirat thanks for the video but I want a clarification that in question driven development For eg. I want to learn Full stack development and I can do so by building project like a online multiplayer chess game (the sub task that you have written in your repository like build a room etc.)Now how can I know that which tech stack is to be used in doing that subtask.
@harkirat Hi , thanks a lot. Great information. Do you use paid version of chatgpt or free one ?
thanks for making informational videos rather than motivational ones, that really help in understanding industry insights.
Thanks for completing my request 😊😊
Out of all the videos I find on internet, this guy and Kunal Kushwaha are the only two people I found yet who give the most practical approaches. Thanks a lot for sharing your insights, I am gonna follow the Question driven development from now on

Don't really have friends working in tech. So I thought why not ask you. Currently learning javascript, can you tell me about your recent project and what do you do on a daily basis?
Somehow, your videos are breath of fresh air. It just feels good bro. Thankyou for this.
Can you make a video about what mathematical topics are required for quant roles and how we should improve our analytical thinking and aptitude for it.
Thanks bro, you are really making a difference in our lives. We rarely get advice from such accomplished people.
Why don't you introduce your that senior as a guest in your future podcast.
Hey Harkirat. Please take care of the sound. It's quite low even in full volume.
Are you transitioning from web3 to HFT quant dev role ? if yes, what thought process that made you choose HFT
We would like to hear from this senior😊😊😊😊😊
This video is really helpful. Now i can make the right choice to learn new tech stack
Respected Sir, how can I define the subtasks of the chess project, I an new to development.
My favourite channel
I am also interested in HFT firms. I delved into hardware side (FPGA programming) for my seminar.
So do you know Rust already, or will learn while doing the project or will first learn the Rust then complete the project?
couldn't agree more with that tutorial hell thing !!
thanks for your human nature for showing good things us
You're a gem for developer community.. keep shining :D
Yup
Initial i didn't like your content before but i have become huge fan of your🤩🤩

Do you think you will have to go through DSA again as these HFTs companies focus a lot on algorithms
Sir, i am embedded software engineer working mainly in c/c++. I am also following the path to be in HFT. It would be really great if i can further get guidance from you on the same. Pinged you on LinkedIn.
Hope to hear back from you.
Can you tell me what a c++ developer do on daily basis, I want to make a project in c++, could you tell me something regarding question based learning.
Hi, can you boost volume of the voice? It's too low. I'm watching on my pixel 6a. Don't know if it my device or something else.
Awesome Tips brother❤
but in 3rd point what if we dont have such friends or connections ? Then how do we get those industry level projects for learning ?

hey can you make a video on at what point we are capable of creating the project you recommended and what are the first requirements we need to learn first to start work on these project
The idea of question driven development is really insightful.
What is pbfs? Is it a compression algorithm or routing algorithm?
How do you suggest learning Android development through this framework? Any sequence?
Question - Bhaiya why you point out only Rust for the backend part. Can't I make that same application using Nodejs? Or Hft firms prioritize Rust as their backend language over other languages?
Yeah that is correct. Read about low level languages and how they are better when it comes to low latency systems
@@harkirat1 Ohk thanks bhaiya. I will surely look into that

Where to find such assignments or projects that are broken into questions
Just wanted to ask regarding the languages you mentioned C,C++,Rust for HFT. What about Golang as zerodha's entire backend related trading infrastructure is written in go.
Yup go is also a popular choice for building trading systems
Hello bhaiya , i don't know much about open source , can you please make a detailed video about open source contribution and a completely beginner guide to crack GSOC .

@Vikas Wakde its simple like if i encounter an error i paste it in chatgpt and ask it to explain why it happened....
When i want some code i write this line "provide your solution and run the tests to confirm your implementation."
