"Play your life" a fantastic piece of advice that nobody ever seems to take, not saying this guy didn't try to play his life. It's just that people tend to try and go for a fight instead of hanging going with a safer play
Playing your life in the sense he wants his team mates to do it makes sense. But another case though - like if there's no winning the round and you want to save K/D, that's a window-licker move. Quit worrying about how good your K/D looks, go for the gunfight and keep your aim warmed up.
I realized the reason Lions gadgets still shows up after the scan is finished, is because if any player is detected during the lion scan, their pinging will continue after the scan is over, therefore his gadget is still relaying the signal to all the other attackers.

You can tell MJ is happy abt the changes and is hopeful siege can get to that main stream level once again, I’ve been waiting for something like this for a while so I can only imagine how macie feels as a content creator and player
I may actually come back to siege with this next season. I didn't know about the new ranked change and that may just bring me and my friend group back. I miss siege but it felt so bad to play. I'd love if it didn't feel like that anymore
Crossplay being introduced to siege is bringing me and my buddies back to it after meeting on the game but stopped playing it a few years ago, me ranked system looks very rewarding and different then how almost every game does it rn
People- Macie’s Brain, is so freakin’ huge. I played this map twice and I went all around the map to find stairs. To see him doing Macie things on day 1, says a lot about MJ big ‘ol beefer brain.😊

Relatively new player here, only started playing last year. Still love the game and want to play it. I can't though because of constant freezing and stutters etc. which a lot of people seem to be complaining about. Great updates recently by Ubisoft but it's still frustrating to play because of these issues

They could add the lean without aiming to counsel by clicking both analog sticks at the same time and after aiming it goes away and it switches left to right the usual way just a thought
the bad thing about ranked is all the people diamond and plus have also been reset so all matches feel sweaty as hell. the amount of champs and diamonds i have faced is crazy

I worry Solis might encourage the run and gun trend in siege as playing objective and planting is going to become even harder. I've been wrong before though
I just realized Solis would never possible in Siege if they didn't let Attacker Switch happen. It would have been too frustrating to guess whether a team had Solis. All you need to do now is drone well, find Solis and switch to Dokk + IQ or other counters on the team. Way better than losing a round to Pulse + Solis and then having to bet on them doing the same again next defense. It also makes Mute + Mozzie then Twitch more important too. Really cool to think how a small design change makes this game better.
I just picked up Siege again after a 4ish year hiatus about 2 months ago, and I've already re-learned the new and reworked maps. People need to stop screeching about changes and gameplay tweaks. If the game doesn't stay fresh, the gap between old and new players is too high! I'm NOT saying go Fortnite and change stuff weekly, but this kibosh on banning new maps is a good feature!
Honestly the new rank system might just maybe save the game for me. Cuz this last season was definitely named appropriately. It was brutal tryna rank up cuz I left for almost a year, and even when I'm doing good, I'm stuck with players who just aren't up to par, and they end up throwing a game. It gets frustrating, and like I sat in the same place for 2 months before I just stopped playing again. The lack of progression in this game makes it less desirable to play, so I'm hoping this helps me get back into it. I love Siege, and I wanna play more, but sometimes I just hate playing 🤷
It's better if you get ppl to squad up, use discord or something, then whenever you find ppl you can play with, add them to friend list and to your discord server, then build on there. So whenever you wanna play, you can just check in Everyone average skills have improved alot now So solo queue is much more painful than it was back then, esp with how dev made characters having to rely slightly more on other characters gadget to function unlike before where you can just try to make it work with your own kit Like Twitch before.. Decent gun, decent gadget, you can gain alot from her kit as a solo Q, breaking gadget, drone, firepower, 2speed, balancing out her audio cue, HP and move speed Like Sledge was a solo Q capable operator, but now made a 1 speed, makes it somewhat more problematic

I do miss the placement matches phase because of the element of surprise/evaluation that came with it. I hope you're liking the new season, the battle pass style is cool as well 👍
Not sure if sarcasm, but if not, no they won’t. There’s a hidden MMR that has already been established that will place players of equal skill against each other. Not saying it’s gonna be perfect, but while everyone is in Copper, the Diamond players should be playing against previous Diamond skill level players

Thank God they changed the maps rework system. The amount of idiots I see banning a new map because they don't know it is astounding. You won't learn the damn map, by avoiding it.

By having everyone set down to copper, it means for a good few weeks, average and low skilled players are going to be getting dumpstered by high skill players until they hit their normal rank

Only change is that now your rank doesn't tell you the estimate of how good you are but rather how much you've played. So basically you could be old season Copper player and get a diamond rank just by grinding. Personally I think it kills any competitive aspect ranked used to have and takes any thrill out of the game. I can't believe people aren't going on about it to Ubisoft because it feels like it's going to be the death of the game. Atleast for the aspect I liked it for.
Makin Nighthaven non-bannable is a terrible move. It essentially forces the players to make a custom game and spend time learning the map instead of just letting them do it naturally over time.
I don't see how ranked 2.0 is better when your actual skill level/mmr is hidden and you get some random badge to grind towards that gives almost 0 indication as to your actual skill level
Macie, I have to disagree with you on ranked 2.0. It’s good for high level players. I’ve played 2 games today, I’m gold 1 (at best) I matched against champs and diamonds in both. On the test server I played 33 games, same issue, I only got to bronze… in 33 games. It doesn’t inspire me to grind, it discourages me from playing ranked at all. Now obviously, skill issue for me, but I’m not a teenager with tons of neuroplasticity (basically able to experience incredible improvement in their gameplay over time), I don’t get paid to play the game (RUclips, twitch, pro league, etc) I’m an assistant manager that works 50 hours a week and I play when I have free time. I feel like my “skill” has hit a ceiling. And I’m ridiculed by the diamonds and champions I’m playing with/against because I can’t compete…. But I’m matched with them in COPPER I love Siege, but I think ranked 2.0 is the worst thing to ever happen to the game. And I know I’m gonna be ridiculed here by your viewers but, someone needs to express the other side of this new system

Actually even if the defender stays still, his scanner would continue to work for 5 more secs (you can check coreross mythbusters video of Solis)
