you know that uncomfortable twist you get in your gut when something feels wrong? Like that gut feeling telling you to run or hide, and your body tenses up in uncomfortable ways? That feeling is this song
@@Capt.Gingivits exactly lmaooo. I'm just wishing that ichikawa will make some sort of alternate ending where phos got the happy ending after the manga is finished
Just imagine seeing a sunspot in real life and hearing this music.. I would be walking back inside ya know maybe film it from the inside of my house so I don’t die
I remember having a series of dreams where I was a gem in Houseki no Kuni. All of my friends were there, and.. let's just say it didn't go well. And I vividly remember hearing this song when one of my best friends got taken away.
This music nails the feeling of tranquil horror Seeing a bunch of enemies with peaceful look yet they also won't hesitate to take your companions... SPOILER and then grind them into dust
A lunarian based witch sounds terrifying. Imagine hopping into a barrier to find some giant moon lady wearing the limbs and soul gems of dead magical girls as jewelry...
lunarians look like the divine and holy in buddhism. imagining the holy who we trust and feel a sense of security from do sinful things like killing your loved ones & wishing doom on humans is very, twisted but also cool bcs its a cool concept.
People are saying it's creepy but I think it's beautiful. Sure there are eerie elements, but I think it's lovely because my country's traditional music sounds a lot like this except this one adds occidental symphony into it. I love that!
0:16 best part of the song in my opinion. just so... peacefully threatening. like, the lunarians look so peaceful, but you know what kind of threat they pose.
I love how haunting it sounds, it always unsettled me and I never knew why, years later I can put it more into words, the show feels like there in purgatory almost alone and haunting a empty world
I wonder if this is how the author or director of the anime views human nature, as the lunarians are the spirits of humans. These beings seek battle, they are greedy to take the valuable gemstones, their looks show no compassion, and the music is unsettling. This music shows the dark parts of ourselves, something that we can never get rid of as long as we are human.
am i the only person who is amazed by this? like im terrified and astonished at the same time and id probably will stand and look at the lunarians with my mouth open until they kill me?

After catching up to the manga i can say this sounds much more chilling now

Oh man these guys still totally creep me out.

Some of the lunarians have instruments. It's likely most of the sound we here are from them

Love how the Lunarians are mildly based of SEA deities, espcially using a gamelan (i think) from Indonesia.
