Indeed it is not a Wooting killer, but a very worthy alternative depending on what you seek in a keyboard. As I mentioned in the Wooting comparison section, not everyone is after that full sweat gaming performance after all!
Im guessing that being you posted 7 months ago, that they didn't have raphid trigger at that time? But they do now. Its not quite as configurable as the Wooting but seems to work pretty much the same in actual usage. Now that the aluminum case is out for the A75 as well I think I'll pick one up and review/try it myself. Though to be 100% honest I just got the Keychron Q3 and put some nice switches on it and it seems to have 1ms latency and I am very happy with it for both typing and gaming. My only interest is not better performance but just to say I have tried all the different tech out there.
I’m a year late but great review comparison, I have steel series apex pro tkl but doesn’t sound feels mediocre and limited to mods I put extra foam and tape mod still not great. Bought a A75 recently sounds and feels good stock already not I’m gonna add foam and tape, it will sound better also you can get aluminium case for a75 now
there's these new hall effect(rapid trigger keyboards) that need these kinds of reviews! these are the monsgeek m1he, akko mod007 variations and the arbiter studio polar 65. u deserve more than a sub, will look forward to more keyboard reviews mate.
I think now the have launched a firmware update, and web driver, so now can run rapid trigger and low input lag mode , and 0,1 actuation levels instead of 0.2. Low input lag mode dissables dynamic colors but it suppose to be a gaming mode, and more focused, so no problem there in my opinion. I recommend you to try it again with this sofware updates. Very nice review! thanks a lot!
I have made an update for it in the form of the G65 review discussing the features... and well they have updated the Software again since then too. Just can't keep up!
I was looking for the wooting because obviously is the best performance keyboard right now, but i discovered the A75 and was surprised by what offers and the price, now seeing this review, definitely i'll go for it, better stock to buy right now, almost same performance with 0.4mm actuation, and 75% because i like arrows to play car games, or move in some menus, so i think is the best choice right now, very nice product, and very nice video explaining everything, because i was thinking about the apex or the huntsman mini, but seeing this video, definitely i'll go for this, cheaper and almost same performance as wooting.
The A75 has closed the gap even more with Wooting via software updates and rapid trigger! Check out my G65 video for the updates as that applies to A75 as well. Thd actuation point has also been further decreased since I uploaded both the A75 and G65 videos. You won't be disappointed!
I am also still on the Wooting because I am that sweaty gamer but also because I've spent a bit too much on these mods as well 🤣 I really do like the A75 as well though!
they released their own rapid trigger program in their software called Never miss, i might buy this keyboard just cause of that. Have you tried the Never miss software?
you can mod A75 and spec is different you claim Ultra Response Speed: 10 times faster than the traditional mechanical keyboard. Adjustable Actuation Distance: Actuate from 0.2mm to 3.8mm, the adjustable precision is 0.1mm Rapid Trigger: Triggered once pressed, reset once released. Sensitivity range 0.1-3.6mm, adjustable accuracy is 0.1mm
As an enthusiast, the only issue with this board is the spring ping. Easy to fix, open the switches and throw the springs in a bag with krytox 105 and shake it for 30 seconds. Reassemble and you're done. Perfect board at that point.
Yeah I'm not the biggest KB person, but I guarantee you this is definitely the best stock KB I've tried, and is the second best performing KB on the market too while maintaining absurdly low prices. Can't recommend it enough!
@@its_yifang it's almost as good as the monokei standard. That's a fantastic board for the price and it sounds amazing. Hot swap too. No programmability is a deal breaker for me though. I need my function layers lol.
I preordered it but its still not arrived yet, did ask them if they will implement rapid trigger, they said in the future as they dont have enough time with software implementation atm, fair enough for a small company i guess. Also your review has ease my buyer's remorse quite a bit as I already have a wooting with fjell case :)
That's the standard Chinese shipping these days, I've had no problems with 4PX on any items. This one arrived surprisingly fast, not sure if they paid for premium speeds to get to me ASAP for review because they really wanted this video out.
Is there an actual problem with using the ANSI layout in UK? I've never looked into it but is there missing keys that are crucial for that use case, or is it that you're just not used to it?
Hi have you tested the NEVER MISS function on the A75? From what drunkdeer told me, NEVER MISS is their alternative to rapid trigger where you set your actuation point to mabey 0.4mm and then you can add another sensitivity to reset at mabey 3.0mm. Thats what i got from their explanation. Can you test this please?
FWIW I just received mine and ran the test done in the video. With NEVER MISS enabled it performs like the Wooting did in the video i.e. no running triggered.
Hi Yifang, thank you for reviewing A75! We appreciate your feedback and will continue to improve.😊
Their software was actually released 5 minutes before I published this video so check that out on their website if you are interested.

bing chilling!
Considering it has gotten pseudo rapid-trigger since ur vid came out, and they're talking about improving it further... + ur review = I'm sold.
Can’t be a wooting killer until rapid trigger is implemented .. hopefully becomes more common so can import this to Australia at a reasonable price

I think now the have launched a firmware update, and web driver, so now can run rapid trigger and low input lag mode , and 0,1 actuation levels instead of 0.2.

Wish they made it ISO-compatible tbh :( But I heard wooting is coming out with a TKL soon. I love their 60HE. Has been my main board for 10 months.
I am also still on the Wooting because I am that sweaty gamer but also because I've spent a bit too much on these mods as well 🤣
I really do like the A75 as well though!
@@its_yifang Lol I get ya :D I am personally gonna get the TKL as well. Ty for the review.
@@lnbabz Don't remind me about it... Just don't... Please don't make it mod-able as well Wooting... Please... (better fucking be mod-able mfs)
The Wooting is also pre-lubed, by the way. It's probable that you like the job DrunkDeer did better than wooting.
The Wooting factory pre-lube feels almost non-existent >_>
@its_yifang to me, what's funny is that I prefer the sound of the wooting to the drunkdeer in the audio you recorded, 😆.
@@RafaelSilva-yv3oh In a way, that's also an unfair comparison because the wooting has a few hundred USD worth of mods added to it...

nice review!
will you be reviewing the kb65he?
How was the shipping experience? Apparently they use 4PX, which doesn't have the best reviews in Aus.
That's the standard Chinese shipping these days, I've had no problems with 4PX on any items. This one arrived surprisingly fast, not sure if they paid for premium speeds to get to me ASAP for review because they really wanted this video out.
Can you do another test? They added new features (Rapid Triger sensivity)
I don't have this keyboard anymore but a follow-up is coming! Editing is in place and you will soon have all questions answered.

hellow nice vid. will order mine today ^^ what is the polling rate of this pricy toy ? :)(maybe i missed it in the video)
I don't even know... I'd assume 1000Hz though.

What's should i buy this or apex pro?
I don't sure what buy, what's you think are better

How do you always have perfect grip tape on all your mice?
Corepadz grips are precut to fit! Anything beyond that is just a skill issue 😉
YAYYYYY new video and another thing that even if i get still cant get me out of silver :(
In which game?
Is it QMK/VIA compatible? If not, can you remap the CapsLock key to Fn key?
I am unsure.
Do they have any plans to make it rapid-trigger? Seems like an easy thing for them to do. China #1.
No clue right now. I don't see why not down the line though!
Just asking but, was the lamzu atlantis og the v2? or the v1
V1
@@its_yifang thank you.
The wooting kinda sounds like a typewriter
it have the rapid trigger now
Yes, I have made a follow-up video.
There will never be a Wooting killer. Just fair competition that will improve the experience for us.

There definitely will eventually be a Wooting killer until Wooting also further innovates. That's what we want to see as consumers!
