The best one for me is Jen seeing Roy in the wheelchair in the Gay Musical episode and her exasperatedly getting him some whisky, and then the reveal of Moss behind the bar. It makes me laugh everytime, and yet there is not a word spoken, it's all context.
You could literally take any random minute from the Gay Musical episode and it would be the funniest moment of all. "I'm disabled." That was the funniest episode of any comedy I've ever seen.
The epilogue of "the internet" sketch is the cherry on top: Roy and Moss attend the speech waiting for the big laugh, but when Jen shows it to the management, they came up with the same Jen's reaction. Pure gold.
and then Roy fritzes and goes bazerk when the 'old lady' 'steals his jacket' and does a strange dance in front of people doing a moment of silence that should also be in there
When they went to funeral. Roy..I hate these thing's I never know what to say. Jen.. just say I'm sorry for your loss and move on. Roy (to grieving widow) I'm sorry for your loss move on.
So glad i found "IT" in 2020. Really helped make the situation bearable. 8 out of 10 Cats, WILTY, Travel Man, Task Master & others are a refreshing change for this American. People on the game & chat shows seem to be having a blast! Can't thank you Brits enough. Stay safe.
It’s so hard to narrow down the funniest moments. Street Countdown, Moss posing as Jen’s husband at her school reunion, having to smoke further and further away from the building… I’m glad you put in “Four, I mean five, I mean fire!”. IT Crowd was funny right from the get go. Gary Linehan is a genius!
I think he meant "fore," in keeping with the "golf/fire" confusion running gag that episode. But totally agree about those examples. I'd add "that ludicrous display" and half the bits from Work Outing too!
04:13 i saw a short loop of that scene over a decade ago on some flash website. Intrigued i looked up the show and thus discovering it. Such a lucky day.
I think the Gay Musical chapter, the part when Moss is a barman... it was one of the best moments on my life, I laugh so loud my entire country heard it. But I understand in order to get the joke you basically need to put the entire chapter here... Internet box was epic as well.
I’m all pally-wally with people until I find out they don’t love the IT Crowd as much as me. Then I throw them away like yesterday’s jam. I mean, seriously! Did you see that ludicrous display last night?
The fact that "I'm disabled" isn't on here is such a disappointment. Anyone that has watched this show will likely say the "The Work Outing" episode is likely one of the funniest moments in all of TV show history. I've never seen anything even close to it.
The Work Outing(S2E1) and The Dinner Party(S2E4), nuff said. Can watch those 2 episodes again and again and piss my pants every time. The Work Outing = funniest episode ever. "I'm disabled" LOL
The episode where Roy and Moss skip out the rest if the day from work. The scene where they are walking in the street and come across a bomb disposal robot. Moss says something to the degree he has never seen one out in the wilderness and then Roy looks around just to see everyone from Reynholm Industries just staring them down. The look that Douglas Reynholm (Matt Berry) is priceless. The IT Crowd to me ranks as one of the greatest sitcoms in television history and very underrated.
My late husband used to work for Dell as a customer service rep. The internet episode was our favorite. We both laughed until we cried the first time we watched it. But we loved all the episodes.
The best one for me was the dinner party when Richmond was like “bloody hell i think this is my girl” and the French tech support Jen had to call killed me “phhwwweeelllll”😂😂😂
Occasionally I still have nightmares about that emergency number song, it stuck in my brain that much! The Policeman's helmet joke stuck in my head the most though I reckon! :')
I'm disabled! The work outing/gay musical episode funniest ever. 2nd funniest is the one where Jen has them over to her place for dinner. Absolute riot!
I love this goddam show.... I wish it had lasted at least one more season! Is my all time favorite even though I watched it for the first time just one month ago.
I watched it for the first time when quarantine started in march. I've seen it 3 times since and since I'm here Im gearing up for a 4th even though I won't admit it
Starting season 2, the basement setup was changed, tidier. But i kinda missed the old hectic setting. Also Jen's voice becoming sultrier in season 2. In season 1 she was kinda loud.
The gay musical episode is the funniest but I love the scene in the first episode where Moss walks in on Jen having a long important phone call, she finishes, then asks Moss what he wants. His reply; I’m here to connect your phone!
Im giving you the same face Denham gave Richmond when he gave his mother cradle of filfth at her husband's funeral, because your favorite episode isn't work outing
Its a follow on from the other non-IT staffs' appreciation of the previous jokes that the IT staff were telling. The comment about their glasses wasn't meant to be funny, but the other staffs' response to those words was an indication that they were encapsulated by the unexpectedly enjoyable company of the IT guys The unfunny glasses comment was only meant to prepare the TV viewers of the retelling of the then unacceptable tale from Moss, which would not be accepted in such a work based social setting, by lowering the humour down from a high state of enjoyment to a base level of expectation Its a roller coaster example of comedy which plays on what happens to everyone in the real world who are already committed to thinking that someone is always funny, based on their past comments or fame, and expect forever that everything to come from them will be even funnier To then suddenly discover that they've completely and instantly rejected them due to a taboo/morally questionable subject, that's been recited by mistake, is what makes the entire scene funnier to us as the viewer You have to take the entire scene as one comedy moment, not expect every individual line to be a standalone joke. The best one for me is Jen seeing Roy in the wheelchair in the Gay Musical episode and her exasperatedly getting him some whisky, and then the reveal of Moss behind the bar. It makes me laugh everytime, and yet there is not a word spoken, it's all context.
The first time seeing it, i nearly suffocated. What a delivery!
Yes that was the funniest. The expression on his face on the lift for the buss. Made me laugh so hard tears ran down my face
Agreed, easily the best moment in the serie for me. Cracks me up every time xD
This is so true. That was really funny.
Where’s your wheelchair?
Stolen.
You could literally take any random minute from the Gay Musical episode and it would be the funniest moment of all. "I'm disabled." That was the funniest episode of any comedy I've ever seen.
Absolutely agree.
Leg disabled
I could barely breathe when I watched it for the first time... :D
absolute number one
Definitely the funniest ep !
The epilogue of "the internet" sketch is the cherry on top: Roy and Moss attend the speech waiting for the big laugh, but when Jen shows it to the management, they came up with the same Jen's reaction. Pure gold.
And action sequence leading to it breaking is epic too. The whole episode is epic!
I laugh so hard with that one...the side story is also good
The boss when says: You...used...to...be...a...man
Damn idiot, gets me every time hahahha
I still can't believe that the Elders of the Internet lent Internet for the shooting of this show. But it was worth it.
Well, they did have to put it back on top of Big Ben in the end, because that's where you get the best reception
I wonder if they used a fake for when she had to break it at the end. Did UK have any natural disasters happen around the shooting of the show?
@@Crilic3 No, nothing local afaik. But Great Recession of 2008 started after it was aired.
@@SmartK8 Well, there you go, then.
Don’t forget The Hawk.
"I'll just put this over here with the rest of the fire" 😂
Yeah, "made in Britain"
It's Richard's (Moss's) inflection in his voice that makes it even funnier.
"Looking forward to hearing from you"
That bit never gets old
"the rest of the fire" 🤣 lmao genius and simple at once
One of the best episodes of the whole show for sure
These are all great. But the "fire at Sea Parks" scene is the funniest moment I've ever seen in any sitcom. Absolutely brilliant.
That's the most ridiculous thing i've ever heard!
A Fire? At the Sea Parks?
@@fransuke12 Chris O'Dowd's acting really was so brilliant!
Ironically, the emergency services number jingle is such an earworm, I can actually remember it to this day.
Sean Yeo same
I know right? it's so catchy I actually caused many deaths by dialing the fictional phone number instead of the actual 999 number! ♪

The bit where Moss throws the coffee at Roy and then smashes into the door after realising should be in this
That’s one of my favourite moments. I think what makes it funnier for me is you can see the entire set wobble when he hits the door!
and then Roy fritzes and goes bazerk when the 'old lady' 'steals his jacket' and does a strange dance in front of people doing a moment of silence
that should also be in there
I only recently finished watching this show and I have to tell that This is one of the best Sitcoms ever .
the only thing that sucks about it is how there is only five seasons

Seeing Roy kiss Moss over and over to distract the police is the funniest thing I’ve ever seen on tv, period.

a dynamic go-getter, a genius and
✨ a man from ireland ✨
What about the German cannibal! Moss thought the German was going to show him how to cook but the German wanted to cook him! That actor was great.
I've been able to remember that long number to this day. It hasn't left my mind since I first watched it, it's that catchy.
For me the funniest moment was Moss chasing the bullies with a gun
Yessss😂😂😂😂😂
The fire extinguisher and the internet ones are absolutely hilarious even now 😂
My husband had to come see why I was laughing so loud. Then I showed him and more laughter ensued. 👏🏻👩🏻🦰
4:13 - I want to make a GIF of Moss casually glancing at the fire then returning to work, and title it "No, no pressure at all...!".😁

Longer than most musicals
When the chaos is slowing escalating and then Jen turns around to see Moss behind the bar… omg I couldn’t breathe 😂 I laughed so hard!
The Work Outing(S2E1) and The Dinner Party(S2E4), nuff said. Can watch those 2 episodes again and again and piss my pants every time. The Work Outing = funniest episode ever. "I'm disabled" LOL
Working out is probably the best half hour comedy on TV like ever
The episode where Roy and Moss skip out the rest if the day from work. The scene where they are walking in the street and come across a bomb disposal robot. Moss says something to the degree he has never seen one out in the wilderness and then Roy looks around just to see everyone from Reynholm Industries just staring them down. I was really depressed and anything could lift me up but this video just made me laugh.
My favorite part of the emergency services one is that, because of how they parse the numbers in the song, they highlight 9-1-1.
Type the whole number into an android phone and there's an easter egg.
Sin duda, una de las series más infravaloradas de la Historia. Cada capítulo era una maravillosa genialidad.
"725.........3" lol
And now I want to go to London to look at the internet, maybe they'll even let me touch it!
The elders would never allow it.
They could; as long as she wins the Employee of the Month award first..
Oh no you might break it
That won't be possible, what if you drop it?
nessagirl1911 it’s at the top of Big Ben and you would have to climb several flights of stairs.
have seen the internet scene so often that it merely evokes a smile. but 9:20 got me cracking out loud
i love the scene where the boss talks about the importance of working as a team.
And then shows a picture of the A-Team 🤣
Surely ‘leg disabled’ should have been in there.
I know right?! Mine and my husband's favorite episode
We weep with laughter at the very memory of that episode and watch it regularly
at least the bit where he goes up and down and later back up to the bus and then they drive away, singing "i love willies"
My late husband used to work for Dell as a customer service rep. The internet episode was our favorite. We both laughed until we cried the first time we watched it. But we loved all the episodes.
My fave was the magician. 5 seconds, no words. Hilarious.
The " box of wine" is painfully way too relatable 🤣
This needs the inter faith tour with Douglas having his trousers round his ankles, turning round and just yelling 'F*CK OFF'
Absolutely, one of my fave eps,
this needed the part where moss became a bar tender, roy a disabled guy and jen finding them her sigh is saying "this is my life now...."
Now that "The Hawk" is gone, who will demagnetize the internet?
The best one for me was the dinner party when Richmond was like “bloody hell i think this is my girl” and the French tech support Jen had to call killed me “phhwwweeelllll”😂😂😂
Occasionally I still have nightmares about that emergency number song, it stuck in my brain that much! The Policeman's helmet joke stuck in my head the most though I reckon! :')
The top 1 for me will always be the 'soviet' skit. Never laughed so hard my entire life.
Ha ha ha! "The Elders of the internet!" Brilliant.
You can't make 10 min. video of the funniest moments from TIC. That sitcom is funny every damn minute.
Love this show! Just miss the funeral bit with Richmond giving the widow a cd with music that has helped him

I MEAN FIVE!
I MEAN FIRE!
Jen: The Hero
Roy: The Warrior
Moss: The Professor
Douglas: The Jester
Richmond: The "Whatever"
When Moss reboots... Or the bar scene in S2E1! xD
The internet and the fire are my favourites

I watched many comedy series, but only series which made me laugh until your belly hurts is the IT CROWD...
I would have added a scene with Richmond from the back room. Classic.
I heard a crow cry three times. Caw. Caw. Well, you know what a crow sounds like
Starting season 2, the basement setup was changed, tidier. But i kinda missed the old hectic setting. Also Jen's voice becoming sultrier in season 2. In season 1 she was kinda loud.
Bomb sniffing robot is hilarious and when Moss fixes Matt Berry's electric underwear
The gay musical episode is the funniest but I love the scene in the first episode where Moss walks in on Jen having a long important phone call, she finishes, then asks Moss what he wants. His reply; I’m here to connect your phone!
That and the Italian translator the best big jokes and the one with the underground club for moss

I love this one too
This is the internet. Genius!
Moss is the best character XD
The rest is so funny IT Crowd Legend 1 of my fav is when they ban smoking
I always love moss
The anti-piracy ads. fuckin awesome
I don't really understood why a room full of people would all laugh at the sentence "We were so drunk that he lost his glasses"
Its a follow on from the other non-IT staffs' appreciation of the previous jokes that the IT staff were telling. The comment about their glasses wasn't meant to be funny, but the other staffs' response to those words was an indication that they were encapsulated by the unexpectedly enjoyable company of the IT guys
The unfunny glasses comment was only meant to prepare the TV viewers of the retelling of the then unacceptable tale from Moss, which would not be accepted in such a work based social setting, by lowering the humour down from a high state of enjoyment to a base level of expectation
Its a roller coaster example of comedy which plays on what happens to everyone in the real world who are already committed to thinking that someone is always funny, based on their past comments or fame, and expect forever that everything to come from them will be even funnier
To then suddenly discover that they've completely and instantly rejected them due to a taboo/morally questionable subject, that's been recited by mistake, is what makes the entire scene funnier to us as the viewer
You have to take the entire scene as one comedy moment, not expect every individual line to be a standalone joke. Otherwise the world would be a compilation of cheap Christmas cracker jokes
And that would be very shit
