I followed everything perfectly until the outline stroke command to make it an object. I outlined the strokes, and was able to use the shape builder tool to select all the shapes on both sides of the vertical line. EXCEPT, when I tried to use the shape builder tool to select only the gaps, it was selecting the gaps on BOTH sides of the vertical line. I restarted the whole project, followed exactly, and it happened again.... every time. The effect of this is that I was not able to color the gaps on the right side of the line a darker color than the ones on the left, because it would not select only the gaps on to the right of the line. Any suggestions on how to fix that?
Alexander, do you have a transcript of this tutorial? There are places I just cannot for the life of me figure out what you're saying and the steps you do. I'm almost there but I ran out of wits. Your accent is very thick and because you know what you're doing, some steps seem to be 'bypassed' which is what one would do when you're very well versed in what he's doing.
super nice and easy tutorial. Thank you!
this stroke is really sick LMAO great tutorial btw, keep up the good work man (y)

Do you mind list the tools you used to make the pyramid please?
Once you have ungrouped the pyramid, how did you get rid of the lines in the back? In other words, how did you clean up the art board?
it's nice to write color codes :)

The music in the background is 200% too loud
This doesn't work. There's something wrong with the strokes when you use the shape builder, you can't select the gap lines.
