Bob played out of his mind tonight. Definitely prevented an absolute blow out.
For real. Both goalies played out of their minds. Really hoping for a Colorado/Florida finals this year. Would be a hell of a series.

The pair of saves at 8:09 are insane. First off a crazy deflection, then to flick the pad out to stop the rebound. Blackwood has been on fire since the trade.
As an Avs fan Bob was playing out of his mind tonight, could have easily been a blowout without his performance

Anton Lundell has exceptionally fast developed to a very realiable and productive center.
Who works on both directions. Gives good passes and scores too.
He has the perfect guy on the team to teach him in his native tongue, a guy who got his own offensive teachings from none other than Jaromír Jágr.
Anyone who watched Blackwood last season, with what he managed with that Sharks team, knew that he was going to be a dangerous man if he ever got a team in front of him. He now has a team in front of him, and he is a bad, bad man.

As a Red Wings fan, colorado picked up a good tandem goalie set up, Georgiev wasn't cutting it. but geez, BOB PLAYED OUT OF HIS MIND, dude is one of the best goalies in the league, even at 36 yrs young.
У Колорадо сейчас очень слабые вратари. И это видно по прошлым проигранным матчам. Сегодня было исключение только из-за того, что у Флориды атака не шла. Это прекрасно было видно по броскам, особенно в первом периоде, где Колорадо чуть ли не в три раза перебросали Флориду!!!
Но вы сидите в розовых очках дальше😂 Георгиев среди вратарей Колорадо пока остается лучшим, хоть и нестабилен в последнее время, но его обменяли на ниже уровнем вратаря
@@ПашаЖупранскийyou mean the guy who hasn’t been above .900 save percentage in almost two years? Blackwood is .918 this season and spent half that time with the bottom tier sharks. He’s been above .930 with the Avs. There are far better Russian goalies to fan boy over, Georgiev is not a good goalie

You can see these losers doing the same when they glaze Nichuskin furiously as the true leader of the Avs (Natedog who?) whenever he gets a single apple. I guess they particularly soured on Colorado now that all the other Russians got traded off.

That's a bounce back game. Blackwood was amazing. Only goal was from a defensive breakdown. I wanted bad Bob from the last few weeks, not good Bob. Still got the win though.

The reffing during Avs games has gotten so bad that I can't even really be mad anymore, I just shake my head and laugh. The hold against Lehky in the first period was made up, but I can live with it because the Avs had two PP in that period, so you knew the refs were looking for a make-up call (if you don't believe me just ask Tim Peel).
The delay of game against LOC in the third period though was a damn embarassment. The plexiglass is literally shaking back and forth from the puck deflecting off it. Anyone with eyeballs could see it was deflected. The game was either tied at that point or it was 2-1. Imagine if that ends up being the deciding goal in that game. Such BS. I can't even blame Bednar for not challenging that, because from his viewpoint based off recent history, I would not be surprised at all if the refs doubled down on it being delay of game.
I wish I could be that terrible at my job and have zero consequences.

I’m amazed we don’t see goals like Colorado’s first one (off the post, off the goalie, and in) more often.
I thought new jersey gave up on blackwood just a year or 2 early. When the avs acquired him i was very curious how he'd do with some decent defense in front of him. He's looking like the all star the devils thought he could be. Hope he keeps it up and stays healthy.

Habs have been playing some good hockey. Beat some really good teams.
Besides Habs gaining significant confidence lately, even good teams like Avs have off nights every once in a while against the teams from bottom of the table.
