Who knew? Antimatter is the most expensive stuff on earth, and it turns out you can just craft some in your pocket.

Thanks again for another episode. I watch this one on the 65" TV with soundbar. It was soooo beautiful the colors when you would go in to warp drive. Purple yay. It was very entertaining. There is a lot of detail in this game. Wow you took out that bad spaceship! 💐

You ran into an asteroid belt early on. Next time go crazy for a minute or two and shoot everything. You'll end up with plenty of tritium. The gold and silver you can sell. You'll need them for upgrades later though. I want to add that would never have finished my time at Portia if i hadn't watched your playthrough. It was fun to watch Coral Island and see you not focus on the realtionships so much. 😊

You can claim crashed ships for your fleet or fix the drive and sell at space station.

Lady Shelab. You can change the width of you mining laser. The smaller the width, the more overall resource you will get from a deposit, although it does take more time. And try to use the suit upgrade system in each new station... you may be pleasantly surpised.

It is due to game changes in the past few months that you will be pleasantly surprised.

I will try and do some of these things, please remind me if I forget though, there is a lot going on and I am trying to make good main game progress so I can show as much as possible before 'running out of time' with the series.

Buying and selling ships is a good way to make money.

28:45 - Aha, so there is fighting in the game. I was beginning to think it was all about just walking around and picking things up. Now I'm wondering what happens if you lose a fight, reload from last save? start a new playthrough? respawn back at your base? In general, from what I'm reading, Normal mode is considered fairly easy, and you have to go Survival for a real challenge, true? Right now I'm playing Don't Starve, where the default is Permadeath. Not that I'm good at it, I'm pretty terrible; maybe I'm just a masochist. I guess when you're watching someone who's already got over a hundred hours in the game it's hard to tell how challenging it actually is.

I never found the combat particularly challenging BUT you have to pick your battles wisely. Some of the combat can end up with what seems like unlimited waves and you can't get away easily. You will see more as we progress though, we will also start having land based combat soon.

I play in relaxed and set the difficulty to no death. I play on the Switch and I can't aim my way out of a paper bag. In any mode but permadeath if you die you have to go back to the site of your death to get your inventory back even if you die in space

No Man's Sky has different game modes, for example normal, permadeath, creative and a hardmode I don't recall the name of, but you can also tailor your experience in a more detailed and personal matter with the custom game mode (difficulty settings can also be changed mid game unless you choose to lock them) :)

@@SootyliciousArt Right, you could see this at the start of episode 1. There was Normal, Relaxed, Creative, Survival & Custom, and the current playthrough is on Normal. But labels are just labels, they don't really tell you if the game is going to be frustratingly difficult or boringly easy. In Don't Starve there are almost 50 customization settings, but they don't mean much to you if you've never played the game before. I think with Factorio it's about the same. A lot depends how much you've played similar games as well. They are Billions has about half a dozen difficulty levels, but their Easy is only easy if you grew up playing Stronghold and Command & Conquer. So it's hard to tell if the game is (small e) easy, basically a walking simulator, or if Shelab is just making it _look_ easy.

Please do not call a star system galaxy. Truly not the same thing. Do not forget the small monoliths that teaches you words so you understand better the aliens.

I mean...it is all just a simulation really.
