Brett is a treasure. Brett, we all know it’s the Holy Spirit but you deliver it in a way that is absolutely agreeable and you always come up with a few takeaways like the two pieces of paper, and the super glue, and a couple of them before that. I soak myself in Bible, prophecy and sermons, but what I like about your regular through the Bible sermons is that you make it contemporary. And your sense of humor is fabulous.

i’m listening to the beginning of your Bible study talk and I think the point you were trying to make was many of us are addicted to our phones and our phones are idols and what if we were addicted to our bibles and the Word of God as much as we are our phones! I believe technology often gets in the way of our walk with the Lord so what you said was great and glad it went viral with so many views! It’s good to stir up the waters and that is what me and my fiancé love about you!!!! You and your ministry are always in our prayers! Please keep us in your prayers as we take the gospel on the road with my singing voice and original songs and David running sound!

God bless you Brett, I love my Bible. I bring it when I’m getting my car worked on. I bring it to the park, I have brought it to work and at lunch read it. ( I need to do that more. I will. I also need to buy more bibles so I can hand them out. Thank you Jesus for your word for it is alive and breathing and sharper than two edge sword knowing all Piercing to bone and marrow. For I know the thoughts you think and I know your heart❤! Jesus!

My ANSWER to people out there - who want to argue concerning the Bible - is this: I tell them: “You don’t have to live by the Bible - 20:53 BUT - I promise you - you will Die by the Bible.

Just a thought. There are people who believe that spousal abuse is justification for divorce regardless if adultery has been committed. And I don't want to argue in defense of that position or take someone to task for having that position. Don't particularly want to debate what Jesus said about it.I just want to make a personal observation.
In some of these relationships, abuse is a symptom of adultery.
I just think there's a correlation between both abuse and adultery.
I guess because if you can be abusive without feeling guilty then what would stop you from cheating?
Of course a lot of times the abuse is short of adultery.

As far as the acronym goes, I think we as Christians should just start referring to it as the "SI" community...

Please choose your words carefully on the topic of abuse. Do you realize that it's extremely difficult for a woman to even leave an abusive marriage in the first place? It's not as simple, or common, as you make it sound. Many women STAY in those marriages out of fear. It becomes more dangerous if they do try to leave and that is when, often times, you hear of husbands murdering their wives. You can pretty much be certain that an abusive husband is also being unfaithful; they DO go hand in hand. They've already broken their vows in these situations and are not loving their wives as Christ loved the church. It could only be by a miracle of God that someone like this could change their abusive ways. Statistically, they DON'T change, so please bear that in mind if advising reconciliation. I hope you're 1000% certain you're not advising them to go back to a dangerous situation.
