“Line up and wait” is only legal at towered airports, and it is very disconcerting to have an airplane behind you when you are about to take off in a glider. If a rope break occurs there could be a collision
@@TomCook1993 it requires a clearance according to FAA law, which you can’t get at a class g airport. Too much money, not enough experience. That’s why people fly cirrus.
Pilot: Ground, this is Cirrus, N123A.
Controller: Say request.
Pilot: No request, I just wanted to tell you I have a Cirrus.
This looks like normal Cirrus stuff
Cirrus pretending to be nordo is a bad, bad thing
Yup, typical final for a cirrus pilot, dragging it in on the backside of the power curve for miles.
Why am I not surprised? Does the factory train all new Cirrus pilots to be the way they are????
Looks like some ones going to have to make the call of shame
FAA should audit the pilot
Is Cirrus the Audi of the skies?
I’ve always heard Cirrus is the BMW of the skies. Although, I would definitely say he was tailgating like an Audi driver.
line up and wait, 1 departure intersection ahead.
only allowed at towered airports.

Must be a democrat, entitlements and all.
why are you guys so butt hurt? He's lining up and waiting

@@FSW4S2 even radio calls are not mandatory at uncontrolled airport. Cirrus guy did nothing illegal in the video.
@@TomCook1993 you’re correct that radio is not required, but line up and wait requires a clearance that you can’t just give to yourself
