You forgot to mention it deals increased damage on jumping attacks. This further stacks with the Claw Talisman and the Raptor's black feathers, making your jumping attacks do absolutely bonkers damage with those three combined.
Played Elden Ring as my first Souls game. No idea what my build would be till I got the Bloodhound's Fang then invested in Dex and Strength. Got to NG+ to get another Bloodhound's Fang to powerstance, then used it all the way into the DLC, including killing Promised Consort Radahn with them. No one can persuade me there is a better melee weapon than this.
On my first playthough I only used this, don't regret it since it's AoW is a perfect counter to Royal Revenants. Hitting them immediately with the Ash than heavy attacking when they teleport, rinse and repeat.
If I had more points to spare in arcane and faith I totally would have used it here! In my Morbius build a couple years ago I exclusively used Blood Flame Blade and the Bloodhounds Fang and it was a great run!
@@the_jersey_side Quality builds: I level dex and strength to use a variety of weapons! (Uses Bloodhound's Fang from Margit to Promised Consort Radahn)
I really want to try new weapons. But I just cant seem to find anything better that hits as hard. My entire playthrough has been with BHF. ive tried other weapons and upgraded to max but still.. nothing comes close to its power.
@@the_jersey_side bro I have only one dragon smitting stone whether to go for blood hounds fang or rivers of blood or Eleonora poleblade pls suggest one to make it +10
@Ashura32186 if I have to pick one, it would be Bloodhounds Fang. All three are great weapons with bleed, but the Fang relies on status buildup the least. There are several very difficult bosses that are resistant or immune to bleed damage. That's why it would be my choice

I didn’t know the ash of war had a follow-up until now and I’ve used this sword all the way through 2 playthroughs
fr???? xd
So do you just not read the descriptions for your weapons???
This lol@@wendigoalastor7345
@@wendigoalastor7345 I personally don't, but I still knew the ash of war had a follow up because I just use fextralife.
this was me until a friend came over and asked why I didn't use it. I also thought you could only use the ash of war for Rykard.

This with bloodflame blade and flame, grant me strength is so good
My friend recommended me this weapon for my first run. Had no idea how amazing it would turn out to be, especially since you can get it this early!
Killed consort radahn with this killing machine.
This guy sounds like that turtle from finding Nemo
Its the Zweihander of this era for sure
yuh

Ah, old reliable.

My main build with the bloodhounds fang
Why does it hit as hard as colossal weapons lmao
Good quality scaling and a great Ash of War will do that!

I used his for 90 persent of my first playthrough 😂
Easily one of the best first playthru weapons!
First weapon in my first gameplay. Didn’t put it down till new game plus
Man I thought that was a strength weapon lol
blood gang
I cant figure out how to use that teleport step
Press the heavy attack button at the conclusion of your Ash of War attack and it should work
Iam a new player just playing for a week I made it to +9 and heard there are only 8 +10 somber stones so is it worth making lv +10
