Honestly, lots of great ideas and we have already established that the current script isn't true but as someone who is interested in video game history I would want it to be as close to the true story as possible for Madden motivation, even if thats just EA flashing a big check in front of him

i enjoyed the last two takes on the Madden script, slightly more than the first. I know you must have already thought of this but on the off chance, maybe letting the Cohosts choose the Script that they want to talk about, I personal find it easier to talk about something I an passionate about. Also not having read the script, that is on me not you, but it got me thinking about what might help with others like me and keeping in mind you not wanting to spoil the script. Do you think it might help if you compare and contrast some of the scenes from the reviewed script with scenes from popular movies that did something similar either for the better of worst? This might help people create a picture in their minds using thing they know, without the need to spoil what you are talking about. Really not sure about that last bit but thought I would put it out there in case you can turn it into a usable idea. Anyway can wait for the next one.

Sadly, it is impossible to allow the co-hosts to choose the scripts they want to talk about, without them reading all the scripts that are available before hand. Each script takes around 2 hours to read.
These scripts are scheduled for the entire year, and they are original works by these writers. We have 64 scripts we'll be reading this year, and if the co-hosts pick what they want to talk about, I'm going to be alone talking about a script for the majority of the series, or have a bunch of co-hosts fighting over who gets to talk about that one script everyone liked.
While this isn't a panel show, but a two hander discussion, other hosts will be chiming in with their own segments where they share their thoughts until the next script. So everyone has an opportunity to voice their opinion if they have one, so we will get lots of different levels of passion, and some second thoughts episode may be stronger than the main one.
But I suspect as more hosts get comfortable with the format, the energy and things to talk about will be much more rich.
One of the aspects about reading a script is that the writer is trying to sell the world on their idea, and the mark of a great writer is how well they can write a story regardless of the subject matter.
One cannot find great things without leaving their comfort zone.
That is what this show is looking for. Great original stories, just like the studios, and discussing if they are good or bad based on our own personal tastes, and the merits of the writer.
It would be great if we could compare scenes in these original scripts to popular movies, but that isn't the point of screenwriting. These writers are trying to give the audience something new.
Chances are that they're going to try and be as different from other popular movies as possible in order to exercise their own creativity and have their story stand out.
Now, if there is a scene in the script that reminds either host of another movie, there is nothing stopping them from bringing that up. But if neither host can make that comparison then the audience is going to have to rely on their own imagination based on what we describe.
There are lots more scripts to discuss, and more co-hosts coming in to share their thoughts.
Thanks for watching, and your suggestions. If you have any more, keep them coming.
