@renuka , need your suggestion I am presently riding an xuv 500 diesel, and have booked the turbo petrol manual for carens, my only concern is that whether carens will be able to climb uphills on AC as I love riding in hilly terrains. This is the only point of concern for me and also a reason why I booked a manual instead of DCT. I never got a chance to test drive it on hills coz i live in Delhi neither the dealers near hills are having this model for TD. Presently my xuv does this flawlessly and i expect something similar with this

Agree, manual turbo is better choice over DCT. I read numerous complaints abt DCT on different forums. Across all makes, DCT technology seems to be unreliable and may impact longevity of vehicle. I changed my booking from Turbo DCT to Turbo manual.
It is noticeably heavy at low and high speed in comparison with say the Taigun or Astor. Of course they are on different platforms but the sake of comparison, I will not pick this car because of the handling. But take a test drive and see for yourself.
I think it would make more sense if KIA Carens was available with the IMT as an option..... If Automatic was more fuel efficient than manual transmission..... PPL would never buy manuals.... Indian customers have always been sold cheap stuff otherwise Why would u sell a manual transmission that's difficult to learn to drive at first, not at all convenient, prone to stall in a country that's full of b2b traffic, potholes, hazards. No body drive manuals overseas except an enthusiast who loves the stick and have quantity roads to enjoy the power band.
i wish pricing won't increase more then a lakh in a year unlike greedy mahindra launched marazzo for 11.5l onroad now it's costs 15l+ onroad then people thought lesson to mahindra and marazzo failed in sales

Car like feel, low rpm drivability, comfortable third row leaving ample boot space all these features were already there in Honda Mobilio using it since 2014. Tsi has cylinder deactivation and more pull near redline whereas t-gdi is more responsive in everyday driving and to me, is more refined

3rd row is more spacious than innova. But 1.5 ltr diesel engine is littl small. Atleast 2 ltr above 120 bhp makes sense
