Cypress Knee Carving Project

November 19, 2022; Homosassa, Florida: Bought a wire wheel and got to grinding that stringy layer away. Clearly a job best done outside! Hard to see the results due to that part of the wood being so white, but now has a lot of "lines" cut into it at varying angles- like when sanding with a very coarse grit- and the sanding wheels I have are not handling that, so will need to get a couple of more, maybe a flap sander at 100 grit to start.
