I think if is the footage of a girl friend or wife of a German officer with a nice video camera. I believe you had to have permits to film like he did. Beautiful and elegant woman by the way, enjoying sightseeing.
I had initially asked... German girlfriend/wife or French mistress. The body language at the start showed she was not comfortable in public. When footage began later, she had warmed up as she was around German soldiers. Judging by clothing, shoes, and hair style, she was German and not French. Interesting footage but then, the Germans loved to film and photograph everything.
What absolutely beautiful footage of the French occupation. The Germans were stellar and the French women so stylish and slim. Not like today where mostly every woman is obese, plastic and not into physical fitness. I don't blame those French women for falling in love with the G soldiers. Not one bit!
And they did....own the place....the germans loved paris....loved to show themselves off in their crisp, super masculine uniforms and jack boots. They (germans) knew that appearances make all of the difference in how a conquered people will react and receive their conqueror. Fear and respect....

Paris was a good posting if you were in the Wehrmacht or Luftwaffe ! You could walk around as if you owned the place .
