@@elishavlog26 hello there. You’ll be allowed to find an employer during your stay in Qatar under a visit visa, but it’s illegal to work without official permit/ work visa. It’s suggested to leave the country once you find your employer and come back with the work visa. All the best!
Hi, I'm currently based in Qatar and exploring the possibility of obtaining a work permit and visa for a European country. I would like to understand the process if I plan to fly from Qatar after receiving the visa stamp in my passport. Specifically, I have the following questions: Is it necessary to cancel my Qatar ID (QID) or resign from my current employer before leaving for Europe? Can I fly directly from Qatar without facing issues with immigration, or is it better to exit Qatar and travel from my home country? Will the Qatari immigration authorities ask questions or require documentation if I choose to fly from Qatar? Great regards,
Hello, thanks for dropping by. I don’t have personal exp in this regard. Based on what I know from my contacts, it is always better to cancel your visa from here before leaving the country to the next country you’re going to. You can go directly from Qatar to other European countries as long as you have a visa for that country. You may also opt to get a police clearance before going out of Qatar as part of ur docs. All the best!
