I love that epephitic fern - the thumbnail fern on the tree! We have some pteris ferns growing wild in Indiana - I alway take pics - even if it's my 100th picture!

I loved this video. I live in the upper Blue Mountains so my garden has many of these plants. My cat is obsessed with the bell sound in your intro.

Wonderful! I love all the colours and shapes💚And actually, my last name is the same, as from the french couple, who owned the garden!😆
For me, its so beautiful to see, that you are in spring now, because here (in switzerland) we're slowly going into winter. So I can still witness this beautiful season!💚✨

What a lovely tour! Thanks for taking us along. How weird and wonderful to see all the gorgeous spring plants in September when you're in the UK.😄No problems here with possums, I'm happy to say. But the squirrels nick my tulip bulbs in spring.😅 I appreciate the effort you go to to film it for us. Looking forward to the next.💚

That was just wonderful, thanks Jan. ❤ Matt is a lovely natural guy who certainly knows his stuff. Learned lots. What a lovely day, weatherwise. I was going to say it must be the best time to be there with so much in flower, but now I hope you'll take us back again in Autumn. Looking forward to part 2. 🤗

Thank you for showing us this nice tour. I like the way you did the close ups views. I have altitude sickness so I wouldn't be able to visit without major migraines. I love the rock garden and I would love to build some aspect of it into my backyard. I also love flowering trees like the camelia and magnolia the horticulturalist showed us.

This is great, a big tour in another hemisphere that I'll never have occasion to visit. The landscape offers a welcome break from the typical aroid aristocracy and monstera monotony. I'm only halfway through so I'll have to come finish this later. Your plant titles are nicely done; translucent background lets you see through to the landscape. I think you mentioned 4K in an earlier video; this is superb resolution. Thanks for your hard work. Your computer must have loads of RAM to ingest all those pixels.

Thanks again for bringing us along to appreciate the diverse plant life Matt so eloquently described. Looking forward to part 2, where I'm sure your enthusiasm while exploring will be even more compelling. 😻All those beautiful daffodils remind me of the OG plant craze, Tulipmania.

Great And lots of plants I grow in my garden. I might try one or two of the australian species next to my native species if they like the same climate

I woke up to this gem and couldn't wait until the evening. Thank you Jan for this wonderful surprise 😊.
I think a king protea would look fantastic in your garden!
Edit: on second thought, perhaps a protea requires more light than your garden provides, you might be better off with a white waratah (native to Australia).
Also for your trees, you might want to try that beautiful thumbnail fern, and/or Elkhorn ferns (also native) , plus orchids.
