Easy Chiffon Cake Recipe Ingredients:
Cake Batter:
2 cups cake flour
7pcs egg yolks
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1tsp vanilla
1 cup room temp or lukewarm milk or water
1tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
Meringue:
7pcs egg whites
3/4 cup white sugar
1/2 tsp cream of tartar

This recipe is almost the same as the sponge cake that is used for "Tres Leches" Cake; except 3 leches doesn't have any oil. It's still light and fluffy, but it doesn't look as fluffy as this one. Do you know if this cake can be moistened with liquid and still hold its shape? I'm thinking it can be used for making the Tres Leches cake.

whats the purpose of placing the baking pan with 2 cups of water on the baking tray .whats the difference if baking without water
ok lang po hindi na maglagay ng water..hinaan nyo lang po ung heat to 150degrees and bake it for 50-60mins..check nyo lng po using toothpick if luto na ung gitna..thanks for watching!
What maybe is the possible cause.... When I inverted the chiffon cake, cooked for 65 minutes, the cake fell down from the pan... may I be favored getting some reasons?....

Never tried using steamer on chiffon cake yet. Maybe you can but make sure to close the steamer well.
Just wondering I set the over to 325 °f and it's not done am I messing up somehow?
Maybe it differ on the kind of oven you are using..anyway you can test it by inserting a toothpick in the center of your cake if not yet cooked, you can put it back and bake for another 20mins. Pls make sure to preheat over for 15-20mins before you put the cake batter inside

Set your oven to the right temp and preheat oven for 15 minutes before you put the cake pan

It won't become soft if you will all purpose flour. Better use cake flour if you want a chiffom cake. Thanks for watching..😊
What is cake flour...this is the first time I heard about it and it's not available in my city. What should I use instead of cake flour?
You can substitute 1cup of cake flour with 1cup all purpose flour. Remove 2 tbsp in a cup all purpose flour and replace it with 2tbsp cornstarch.

is it okay to use thr dripping pan for water bath? like mga cheesecake and chiffon? since i own two dripping pan in the oven, and one oven rack. i was afaird it would get burn since i thought its for preventing too much heat
