In all fairness, disassembling a decades old water slide is a unique job that almost no professional company would take on. Whatever the company who did it, they probably told him that they could take it apart and move it, but there are no guarantees on the condition and that they're going to do what they have to do for the price they agreed upon. That's why he's not suing. The FunkBro made a big mistake thinking it was a small project and that a decades old abandoned water slide can just be unscrewed/moved/put back together. Yeah, the workers probably started rushing to get the job done for the financial constraints and did some damage, but I can almost guarantee that this HUGE job to a small willing-to-do company turned out to be a nightmare and cost the owner. That company did what they said they'd do, but it was never suppose to be a perfectionist job especially when working with that old of a structure. The FunkBro sounds like an entitled child screaming "fix my water slide!!!". Bro, you made a mistake by buying that thing without thinking that it's going to hit your wallet hard. There's a reason people don't have huge water slides in their backyards, because they're expensive as hell. You were naive to think you'd pay 25k for a slide and to have that slide disassembled and perfectly moved across the country. I have no doubt in my mind that you'll get it done, but don't talk bad about the company or whine. It's a lesson learned the hard way.

Thanks for the update! How do you do the filtration of the water from pond/pool to the slide? I guess sand and/or any fragments can damage the watersystem/surface of the slide? Do you have filtration and/or cleaning of the pond/pool itself or is it just an pond with fun stuff around and in it self?
That’s sucks man . But You literally payed 6 percent of what you said a water slide would cost (300,000) So you couldn’t expect them to tear and down and rebuild it , for 18,000 they have bills too.
Stupid to even buy a this slide. It had been sitting unused for to long. There was a water park that closed down in San Antonio a few years back. Would have been so much simpler to get something from there.

You should find the parts that are messed up then try getting the materials for the parts then figure out what needs to be fixed then you should fix it then put it up like the frame and stuff P.s. it sucks that you have to drive so far those people are mean if you do not fix the slide you should give the stuff back and get your money back and if they say no then sue them
