Good review. You hit the nail on the head when you said “Sub £1,000” and this pole is actually £799. I really don’t think you can buy a better pole for that money.
I ordered mine on Friday and am waiting delivery. You get a big package with this pole as well.

My apologies that the audio goes out of sync. Hope it's just a glitch with the mic and not something else .

Thanks for the feedback. Yes the nufish elastic is quite good and last a good while. It is in my opinion a little stronger on its ratings than some others . Certainly nothing wrong with it. Hope the margin pole brings you in some big lumps too. I started off with the drennan carp margin myself and loved it .

Looks good are the spares pricey

Spares are not bad . Just be aware of the types. If you have the map 101 to 401 the top kits are v1. 501 to 801 is v2 and above is v3 they all interchange with each pole but v3 is dearer than vq and it's to do with the carbon quality. And shallow kits are the same. Bit your talking between 35 and 50 for top kits and then spares sections are like gold dust lately on any pole but around the 50 to 80 pound mark upwards .

i got one of these. at full length it's a tad heavy. wouldn't want to do a full match with it.

Have fished many a match at 13 m quite nicely but not even used the 14 plus in a match yet and I wouldn't say it's too comfortable for that length of time. But still decent for a pole sub £1000.
