Do you collect every single exclusive from P-Bandai/Gundam Base and the other lines like RG Neon Genesis Evangelion and RG The King Of The Braves Goa Gai Gar? What is it up to now 41 standard releases just for the Gundams? And how many exclusives? I only just ordered my first 3 P-Bandai exclusives for all 3 of the RG Tallgeese kits and I have the weapon set for the RX-78-2 version 2.0. But this is a fun hobby and I’ve been doing it for close to 30 years now. Happy building.😊
@@willisjackson7029 I completed all regular RGs except for Skygrasper. I only have one Eva on my collection, the others are Pbandai's such as the Zakus, Unicorn, Nu, Impulses, Tallgeeses, Astrays, 00 Series, etc. I don't have the Zetas and the Deactive versions.
@@popskies So does that mean that you have about 38-40 of standard releases and 28-30 exclusives? Which mold/molds has gotten the most recolored/retooling?
@ I don't have the force impulse spec II as it is just a saturated version of the standard force impulse. no new parts we're added. I'm not into recolored issues unless they have new parts/molds added.
As someone who is on the hunting trip for early RGs, I love all of them... A bit of paint and glue here and there is ok. What people mostly take for granted is that they are engineering marvels. Both in sculpt, features and injection technology and mold design itself. And I love every single one of them. But I am still mad at Bandai that we didn't get original Banshee configuration as standard release...
Love this comment, there's a lot of tech built into these RG's and it's taken for granted or written off as "trash" because people don't want to do simple mods to work with it.
Dear Joe, grats on reaching 5k+ subs...now for 10k...hehe...Much thanks for this backlog review...I'm still going to get some more MG's but have begun collecting RG's too now, as I find some of them quite detailed, making them a quite satisfying build...Premiums and Gundam Base kits are out of my league and are mostly limited, where I am...so I will stick to regulars and take it from there...cheers for the vid and hoping there are more to come, God Bless!
Another great video, a lot of videos idea from your backlog sounds really awesome to watch in your style. I hope you got even more following from it and continues to grow. I didnt have any backlog as for now, but im trying to find 00 qant fullsaber from seller in japan. If i ever got it, ill probably will do a comparisons between it and the third party addon of qant fullsaber.
That’s a great idea! I love comparing the differences and seeing which version does it better. The third party sets usually have a nice selection of other accessories we don’t always get with the official versions.
XN Raiser comes with an action base in Box and when you build it you're gonna wanna display the XN Raiser seperate from the 00 causw it just looks soooo cool, especially with the sub arms.
@JoesGunplaGarage I'm not even a massive 00 fan, but it was one of my favorite RGs, the worst part of the kit is trying to figure out what pose to put it in.
You saying SideSevenExports was like a winter soldier moment for me, I'm still waiting on a ton of kits from them and haven't gotten them after a long time. Idk how many but it's a handful of kits. Anyways I love the Perfectability Unicorn and I have the HG, RG, and PG versions and do plan to get the MG and SD at some point! Awesome video by the way!
I currently have 8 RGs and I'm definitely getting more, like RG Z'gok just to have more variety in my mostly V-fins collection of RG. I hope Bandai will produce more RGs that aren't Gundams, maybe Kampfer or Geara Doga would be nice.
I thought I feel bad for having a large backlog but now I feel better after watching your video. Someone got it worst than me. For the Tallgeese 3, the heat rod isn't base on the Epyon since it release way earlier. The Epyon heat rod come all in one runner while the Tallgeese heat rod have to be assemble. They are connected to ball joint with a wire going through them.
The most expensive Real Grade is actually the Mechanical Core Sazabi whith a MSRP of 20.900JPY which is almost double the price of the RG Phenex (Narrative ver)
I have all three P-Bandai 'Geese on order. I prefer the Tallgeese TV version color blocking to the manga version. Fun fact: According to an SD Gundam game, Tallgeese comes from Theurgist, meaning miracle worker. I'm torn between wishing that they had transliterated it properly, and loving the name we got for what it is.
Love the goofy name but love that other name too. That’s a neat fact I didn’t know! I appreciate you sharing that. I’ve been needing the TV version so thanks for reminding me that variant exists.
Nice RG backlog Joe, I'm looking forward to that kitbash MSF Gundam review and that Sinanju fix vid 😎 For that RG Zeong would you consider kitbashing the legs from a MG Dom and creating the Perfect Zeong?
Most of my backlog is RG because that’s most of the kits I buy. And it’s a fair bit of them. The only PB kit I have is the Tallgeese 3. That was a birthday gift for myself last year.
I love rg, but my rule of thumb is if i can get it in mg ill do that over rg. Mg is my fav due to it really being less cluttery looking on my super limited space
My workflow has changed considerably since I built these old unicorns, what I did before was Matte clear coat the entire kit in destroy mode, meaning the psycho frame is flat and weird looking. I learned not to matte coat clear parts a while ago because it doesn't look as good. What I do now is gloss coat the psycho frame, build the kit, matte coat the kit in unicon mode so the psycho frame is hidden, then transform it so there should be a nice contrast from the gloss of the psycho frame and the matte coating of the white armor. I typically paint all my unicorn psycho frames now, it's all just a matter of personal preference.
Can you please do the Sinanju RG first? We have the blue label kit and just started with ours and we’re aware it has a lot of issues with the internal frame. Please!!!!! Thank you 😅
RG line really has quite the lineup of kits(a decent amount from the OO with their trans-am mode) but I am really interested in getting the God Gundam along with the Impulse(not spec II) and the Tallgeese III(I really like the visor design) but the issue is I can't find any place that sells the RG Tallgeese III in the country that I stay which is in Malaysia😂
The RG Tallgeese III is a P-Bandai exclusive. Do you have any access to a P-Bandai website? I know that it’s currently available for preorder on the P-Bandai US website right now. Good luck with finding and purchasing it.
I really hope Bandai does the GN-001 Gundam Exia justice and gives us an RG version of: - GN-001 Gundam Exia [Roll Out Colors] - GN-001REIV Gundam Exia Repair IV - GN-001/hs-A01D Gundam Avalanche Exia Dash - GN-001/De-01RS Gundam Devise Exia I'm pretty sure an RG ZGMF/A-262PD-P Mighty Strike Freedom Gundam is going to be made eventually. I still find it odd that Bandai has yet to make an RG RX-0 Full Armor Unicorn Gundam in the red psychoframe color. I also find it odd that Bandai has not made an RG GN-0000GNHW/7SG 00 Gundam Seven Sword/G when they made an RG GN-0000/7S 00 Gundam Seven Sword and RG GN-0000GNHW/7SGD2 00 Gundam Seven Sword/G Inspection Type. There's also oddly no RG GNT-0000 00 Qan[T] Quantum Burst Mode nor an RG GNT-0000 00 ELS Qan[T].
Here’s the rundown of what P-Bandai is: Exclusive Gunpla models, toys, and clothing and much more. The items are available for preorder for a limited time and some sell out in a day or two or a few months depending on how popular the item is. The items are not available at regular retail stores. If you miss out on the first release, sometimes they rerelease the item. There’s one item that I’ve been waiting to see if they will rerelease but it’s been 4 years and I only saw it released once so far. But there are other items that have been rereleased multiple times within that timeframe ever since the P-Bandai US website started about 4 or 5 years ago. The only other way to get the items would be through eBay or someone else who’s selling the item.
@@willisjackson7029 Thanks so much for taking the time to respond. I have seen here and there comments about P-Bandai, and they're usually framed in a negative way, so I suppose the limited/exclusive aspects of it are what drives that sentiment. Either way, I'll take a closer look!
@@GrayHairedGamer I know that in some countries they don’t have access to the P-Bandai website or they might be too expensive for some people. Also like I said before these kits are released for a limited time but then they sometimes will rerelease them. Also keep in mind that if you want a kit from that site you might want to order it as soon as it’s available for preorder. After it is preordered you might have to wait no longer than 6-7 months at the longest or just a few weeks if the item is in stock. Also when ordering different items that have a different release date you have to pay for each item as though they were separate orders because they ship them out separately depending on the release dates. I didn’t know that when I first ordered from them and I lost out on one of the items that I was trying to buy and they have not rerelease it since the original release nearly 4 years ago. Not knowing if a certain kit is going to get a rerelease is a little frustrating at times, but I just have fun with what I got in my backlog because it will definitely keep me busy.
Real Grades is my thing and I've collected 68 RG's so far. This is a great review for RG collectors.

I NEED that Destiny Impulse Gundam. I'm so annoyed that they never had a reprint on P-Bandai.
It's a pretty new kit so I'm sure it will down the line
the best part? RG Sword Impulse Spec II was announced last year LOL

I slightly regret getting the rg XN. It cannot live without the action base due to the sheer weight of the backpack(s). But it is a nice looking kit.
I figured it wouldn’t be able to. I think the Mg comes with a little stand for it. Can the XN pull off any poses at all?

That Tallgeese III seems awesome
