This is such a good idea to use the start of the month as a reset opportunity - I did the same with October into November recently.
Every 2 weeks is a good aim for bedsheets, and worth considering is that the more one keeps one's body clean, the less often the bedding will need washing. Anyhow, you're right about how satisfying freshly washed sheets are.
