8mm or 5/16 UNF. That fitting looks very odd with that gap around it. Is that right? Was there a different bell housing for pukka V8's?

I believe on this set-up, the plate between the engine and the Bellhousing was omitted.

Pretty sure they’re 5/16” on mine either UNC or UNF. Could be that over time someone’s forced M8 in and formed a new thread. Think I’d be helicoiling them
