Well uncle Chieng have always been my solution to the heat in Orchard road. There is a special ice cream you can try ordering from him is called the peanut ice cream, which is either a simple vanilla or coconut ice cream with multitudes of peanut.
uncle chieng has been my go-to old school ice cream at orchard road! I patronis his stall not only because of his fame, but really salute for toiling so hard for close to 6 decades selling this traditional ice cream. It's my childhood and my most favourite snack in my teens :) Will try Monarchs & Milkweed if i am in town too, looks damn awesome :)
Love the concept of this series, Old School Vs New School! Uncle was super sporting, and can see Eric was quite patient too. Personally ate both Uncle's mix flavour cone ice cream and Eric's brown butter sage are pretty darn good! Great job Eatbook!!
