- Michael Cohen was on the witness stand for a third day in the criminal trial of former President Donald Trump. The defense continued its cross-examination, at times accusing Cohen of lying. CBS New York's Alice Gainer has been in the courtroom for all the testimony.

Bear with me (and double check me, to see if I'm honestly mistaken, ...use whatever reasonable, respectable sources you want).
If Cohen lied about having been guilty (presumably to take the weight for Trump , at the time), then instead of being guilty (about which he was, ...lying), then he was instead, ...innocent.

So if he was innocent at the time, and just taking the fall for Trump, then someone *else* must've been guilty, right?
