Whilst I still love The Mission, and they were the first band I saw live in 5 different decades, I hate the 'middle bit' they do in this live these days. In fact, after they played at Leeds O2 a couple of years ago, I vowed never to go again, but then they played about 5 miles up the road from me and were good again, so they're back on my list :)
Flew over from California to see the Manchester and London shows....incredible and I got to toss confetti during this song....was standing in front of Slink...bucket list trip.....with that said this new drummer is clunky and doesn't seem to play with the understanding of these songs or any finesse like Mick and Mike did...
Pretty much everyone who saw Alex from the first gig he ever played said he slid into the job perfectly, and didn't even notice he'd replaced Mike. And that was within two weeks of him joining. Saw them over 20 times on this tour, and one thing I can say for Alex is that "clunky" he is not. Anything but.
I love The Mission UK

The drummer plays loud lol , no need for a couple of lady backing singers with that powerful voice !
Don't agree, this new drummer is better than Mike and play loud as Mick Brown did years before...
@@stephcariou29 don't agree
